@@crabsyoureit we like when people bring content our way so we try to encourage giving them good fights so they get some enjoyment out of it and come back. It's certain the content dread will die, there's no need to drop anti cap dreads on it when the subcaps are there for a fun fight. Spoils it for everyone
Entertaining vid, thanks for sharing. Would use F-keys more for muscle memory combat instead of using mouse. Leave the mouse for targetting and cap management refills. This will save you time for having a better overview on the field. Would have went for the Raven/Praxis/Rokh sooner as they have a big sig, are slow and there's no logi on field. Maybe I should record my own vid instead of typing as if I'm a pro. You motivate me but coming over to goons with a dread would just get me lanced withing a minute, maybe I'll try it anyway.
Yeah, double multispec has its merits. Multispecs are weak to neuts so the ancil is sort of a little bit of burst tank I can run when I get neuted out, in this situation however they did not bring hardly any neuts and pretty much just tried to DPS me down.
@@slavvybaal8731 Exacly, ancils are fit so that when you get capped out/your normal rep is not enough to rep the incoming damage so that you can live for just a few more moments. However in your case you are trying to tank for a extender period of time so burst tank is not really nessesary
@@slavvybaal8731 If you have the CPU, pith x shield boost amplifier is a quite economical alternative to multispec. Better than 2nd multispec (c-type) cold, no cap, but can't be overheated (can't generate heat either though)
I may seem toxic, but I'm selling a keyboard for playing computer games. I don't understand why this is such a huge issue for EvE players, but you lose over 50% of your effectiveness in fight because for some unbelievable reason you only use 1 hand.
Yea also seeing the trend recently where people chose to click every module instead of using hotkeys - In the age of streamdeck you can do everything at the click of a button without using a mouse (except for targeting I guess).
100% agree, I also noticed this in the first 2 minutes with the shield/cap micromanagement and the mouse button moving taking way to much time and brain to hand control instead of using muscle memory F-presets
@@tylerstewart3181 stop mashing them within the same server tick and expecting it to insta work. the only reason why it feels like mouse click works is because it is slower to physically do. a key-press is registered much faster, you only need to get used to properly timing out your actions. Also get a good keyboard that has anti-ghosting or good NKRO so that you can press a bunch of keys in quick succession, ideally also a decent polling rate. If you don't want to go mechanical, you can use some of the Cherry's stuff, I think they are called Stream or something.
Im with tyler here, at first I was all about hotkeys, but they don’t seem to be 100% reliable for some reason… and most of the time have to spam the key, so for those times when apm load allows it, and I REALLY want that module to do as I command, clicking just works better..❤ and even when sometimes apm is high, sometimes you just need that one module to do what its supposed to

tight fit. need 3%+ cpu inplant for even a meta sb, 5% for any good ones. would lowered the dps a decent amount though.

Feel like you would have gotten more tank had you fitting double multispec instead of that ancilary shield booster.

I tried hotkeys in Eve but it seems like they only work half the effing time, and the other half the commands are delayed
