  • Labuan Bajo is on the western tip of Flores Island in Indonesia. It's the jumping off point to tour Komodo National Park. There are now direct flights from Jakarta and Bali. This quick video will show you what its like to fly from Bali ( DPS ) to Labuan Bajo ( LBJ ) in 2022 on Lion Air.
The flight gives you spectacular views of Lombok Island and West Nusa Tenggara Island, just East of Java Island in Indonesia.
It was a propeller airplane, and the landing was beautiful but a tad rough, so be sure to watch to the end to see what it was like. I will be making a series of travel vlogs about Labuan Bajo and Komodo in the coming weeks, so consider subscribing if you like content like this.

July. Would recommend February though, when the hills are green

Mt Semeru? I don't think so... Mt Semeru is located in Java island, west of Bali. You are flying to the east, so I think it is not Semeru volcano. I guess that is mt. Agung
