I think the Poster’s Personal Assistant Coach Hilder trades for everyone I meet. I met her twice at a meeting in Connecticut and after her lectures from her. I had to personally ask her to be my financial advisor. she is definitely good.
I tried using coinly to calculate my returns with the api keys but It doesn't work. There's no way a degen like myself will be able to calculate every trade I've ever made and tell them what I made. It would be more time efficient to do the bird they give me instead.
Best thing is to move out of the UK to a crypto friendly,zero tax country.
Good idea...but only if you've no responsibilities here. Many of us care about and for elderly parents, etc.
If you purchased the Crypto whilst living in the UK, you're still liable for capital gains
@@DETON8 Not if you become tax resident elsewhere, before selling or trading it, and stay resident elsewhere for at least 5 years without returning for more than a few days. But most of us with entwined lives and responsibilities don't have that option.
Starling Bank is not crypto-friendly anymore, they change there stance like 2 weeks ago!

Koinly is a one off fee to generate the tax report itself which is dependant on number of transactions but the wallet import which collates all your transactions and gains and losses is free so you can use it to get all the information and generate the report yourself if you wanted

In the future,terminology will change,hence it will not be called crypto currency( thats a bad phrase)....they will alter the names to entice new investor's...coins will be put into groups and each group regulated differently ( stable coins,utility coins etc....) so its easier for the retailer to navigate through the coins coming to market....this has started already, however regulations haven't been put in place for the different group's...my humble opinion...so phrases in some documents, to us at present don't always make sense..
Starling have been anti-crypto over a year. Starling does not allow fiat transfer into or out to exchanges.
Sorry Matt , spoke to Barclays offshore and Hsbc Uk . They care not , and are happy to provide ...XRP however is nest of 2 weavels , Sanfransico Fed , and some dubious Ripple holders that still own a third . They have been selling for years !!! The UK is leading the world crypto regulations concerning trade finance, because the law and most world trade as well as court systems eg India is based upon UK law. Some small group in the government definitely knows exactly what's going on in the UK. Look into the Icc and the XDC token

I only earn around 12-15k a year ;) I put 30k into crypto which was basically my life savings I’m hoping to make at least 500k I know il be taxed like fuck
