There was a time when I first watched Indian food videos when RUclips first came up years ago. All the comments were nice. Then came the videos highlighting unhygienic street food from poor neighbourhoods in India. From there onwards I began to see the hate-filled comments flooding almost all videos of Indian food. And the reaction by some Indian viewers only made matters worse.
And around that time, it was CHINA and the CHINESE who got the short end of the stick with all the unclean street vendors, and using sewer grease, or selling cat and dog, or some weird stuff like that. I don't know exactly why the western Internet slowly stopped talking about the Chinese like that, and went onto the Indians. Either way, it's messed up and I dread which country will be the NEXT boogeyman.
