Interesting way to set up. I normally do the exact same thing, except I hold the club in the trail hand( right hand) while setting up to the ball. I wonder what difference would that make? Going to compare the two
I normally use the trail hand as well. However, some people need to set the lead side first and then bring the trail side onto the club as the trail side causes things to get out of position with no recovery in sight. Hope that makes sense.
Chris fantastic insight as always. One question I have is what about a little hip bump at address? It’s something I currently do. Good or bad in your opinion? If bad what is it affecting in a negative way? Thanks as always for posting
Thank you! It’s not a bad thing to do at all really. Just make sure you don’t open the hips up when making this slight bump and try not to overcook it as it makes it harder to dynamically load the trail side enough in the correct order.
Thank you! The Toe should be up a little at address. In the downswing you create shaft droop which pulls the toe down and gets the club more flat to the earth.
@@MyGolfDNAChris, as a Senior, I have a very slow swing speed. I don’t think I impart mush droop to my shaft. I find that my toe is more up than I want it to be. If it is not physically affecting my swing, it certainly is affecting my psychology when I address the ball. I think my club should be one degree more flat. I’m a short individual. 😢

Right away, less thins/fats. More pure hits. This was the video I needed. My ball position has been all over that map before...enough! Thanks, Chris!
Sometimes working on the small things can have the biggest impact when you’re knocking on the door with your best golf!!!!

Cheers to you. Thanks for watching and hope you come back for more in the future.

@@MyGolfDNAthanks Chris. I will keep that in mind
Good video Chris! On your irons do you keep the toe of the club up a little or all flat to the ground? Thanks!
