I was in 2202, a Premium. This end of the building gets blocked by neighbour Ascott. Better views on the other end but think those are lower cat rooms

I wondered about that looking at the floor map if the rooms on the other side had better views. I upgraded to the junior suite using a suite upgrade certificate.

@@CarRentalGuy I was upgraded from Classic High Floor Rm 2412 to Premium 2202. 2412 definitely had unobstructed views

For a major IHG hotel, the lack of sun loungers around the pool is a deal breaker. Rather stay at the Kimpton.
