Congrats magdalene, great news to be in remission.take a day or two an go celebrate with family an friends.you deserve to take a brake now from all the stress you've been under, work can wait a couple days call everyone celebrate...god bless you please keep in touch with us
Wow, I just Praise God that you've survived your cancer. I've survived a stroke 3 years ago and my lymphoma cancer and my blood bacteria too. It's only by the grace of God that I'm still alive, to have survived all 3 is amazing. I started to lose my hair after my 1st round of chemo. I had it all shaved off. But now after I'm done with all my chemos it's growing back slowly.
It's so interesting that now they have made that connection between radiation and heart issues later on. My best friend's dad had lymphoma in the 80s, did radiation and ended up needing a bypass about five years ago. Good news is that the cancer has never come back and his heart is good now, but there are side effects to be aware of so it's cool that they've figured that out.
Congratulations !!!!!! You are a real lion !!! U motivate me to study harder to help people like you (I’m med student); just so you know u are simply an amazing human being . All the best from Katowice ! 😘😘😘
Words can not express how happy I am for you! Congratulations! Go out and celebrate! I hope you continue your posts as you deal with being in remission. Trust me, you will have emotions. I think sharing how you deal with it will help others. You are correct, going to hospital can be creepy. I also feel that way. On Wednesday I have to have a MRI to see if the cancer migrated to the brain and CT/bone scans at the end of the month. I am sure that they all will be negative. But enough about me. Again, congratulations! You are a true cancer warrior! Now that you are in remission you are a veteran. God bless!
That’s such a great feeling isn’t it! Happy dancing for you my cancer buddy! I am doing radiation now on my spine and it’s no picnic 😡 So relieved for you! You should go out and celebrate!

Congrats!! I was diagnosed with stage 2 aggressive breast cancer in February at 37. After six rounds of chemo and a bilateral mastectomy I was declared cancer free! I also decided against radiation. The risks outweighed the benefits in my case!
I am getting ready at 36 to do this and I feel the same that you did at the beginning of this video, the constant bad news and now radiation on the table is freaking me out I have been crying all day.
So happy to hear this amazing news Mag!!! All the good vibes now and forever!!! You are a true warrior and such an intelligent woman!!! Tons of love from DR ❤🇩🇴

Yay! 🎉 Also, I 1000% understand how hard it is to weigh up those risks of radiation when you don’t know if it’s necessary. I’ve only had surgery (chemo doesn’t work on my type of cancer) and the margins were iffy but technically the pathology was that all the cancer was all removed. After initially telling me he thought it was fine, my surgeon did a backflip and told me he wanted me to have radiation. For me that meant a guaranteed loss of a lot of vision in one eye, a painfully dry eye and development of a cataract. It also meant a lot of radiation to my brain and my doctors just couldn’t say what that might mean - there was a risk of cognitive damage, a risk of damage to my pituitary gland (which produces all sorts of important hormones including those necessary for fertility) and an increased risk of a brain tumour (apparently to a 1-3% chance but when I had a 0.000001% chance of getting the cancer I did that really didn’t make me feel better!). My other eye was also going to be exposed to some degree of radiation. In the end I had a radiation oncologist tell me ‘if it were me, I wouldn’t do it’ and it just meant so so much to me to hear those words! As my oncologist said though, you still don’t get to live a totally ‘normal’ life - that scanxiety can really take it’s toll! Make sure you look after yourself mentally as well as physically. I’ve started meditating daily as well as seeing a psychologist and it has made a world of difference for this round of scanxiety (getting the results in 2 days and have been pretty successful at not panicking!).
