Hello Kevin, that was a very good mix you put together; I enjoyed most of it (can't have perfection, hehe). I was pleasantly surprised to find Above & Beyond's "Good For Me" in there, one of my all-time favorites. I'm sorry to hear this will be the last mix... but wait, you're saying "of this series"... that means we'll get more mixes in a new series, right? ;-) In any case, I understand the feeling that trance music isn't what it was. More accurate would be to say that you can't find "real" trance as easily as before, since mainstream has moved on to derivatives. But I dare say there are gems still to be found. Have you listened to Fanatic Emotions' "Yearning"? Holy crap the goosebumps I get whenever I listen to it... I would think it's right up your alley. Anyway, it's in my latest mix, which I'll soon be sharing. Cheers my friend!
Hey Olivier, thanks for your response! I agree with you, of course there are some rare pearls in the mainstream depth, but only rarely. Yes I heard "Yearning", in principle I listen to everything from Fanatic Emotions (I already have used much tunes from fanatic emotions in HeavenlyTrance because I love the tunes), It's a good tune for sure but my favorit will always be "Dreams" :)! Your point with a new series is funny, but at the moment I don't think so, the end of this was a well-considered decision. Makes me very sad to read this, you know, I am a guy who becomes emotionally very fast, and I show much compassion, but I can not help you unfortunately because this situation will remain forever. At least I can give you my music and sometimes some short, good moments, and this makes me happy because this is the only reason why I make it, to make other people happy. I live in the south of Germany, sadly with less beautiful places, but at least some good ones. Sometimes I just ride with my bike through fields, forests, mountains and listen to ambient music, and in this situations I mostly get my inspiration for new tunes and my future. To be honest, usually my goal was 100 episodes because this would be a beautiful number, but this fits not with my main reason. I would use mainstream tunes for the next 43 episodes, just random trance, just to fill the episodes with tunes, and this was never the point of this series, the point was to use my favorit tracks and the classical pearls. Now there is no more in my world, so this series is over now, but as I said, maybe I have an idea for another "project", with another goal/point :), and no worry about your words, I never thought only of you, it could be everyone, but it must be a big lover of this series..
