I have lived in Gulshan, Dhanmondi, Baridhara and bashundhara in my 4 years of stay in Dhaka. Motijheel, Uttara, Nikunja, Agargaon are also beautiful. The architectural buildings are worth watching. The media and most of the past youtubers have showed bad image of Dhaka. Old Dhaka is very underdeveloped. The capital or CBD would be shifted to Purbachal (mega-township) and one of the largest skyscrapers in the world will be in this satellite city. Fun fact: Dhaka has more high rise buildings than that of what Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Myanmar, Libya, Australia has. City vs a Country, seems interesting. We visited Medan, Lake Toba, Bukittinggi, Padang, Pagar Alam, Palembang, Bandar Lampung, Jakarta, Bogor, Bali, Makassar, Rantepao, Tana Toraja, Tententa, Bada Valley Lore Lindu NP, Ampana, Togean island Una Una, Gorontalo, Manado, Sorong, Raja Ampat islands Kri, Pianemo and Arborek. Would love be visit Indonesian again. Love & respect from Bangladesh

Nice to see my city of birth. My family used to own over one hundred of the land plots in Gulshan. My mother still owns one at the heart of of Gulshan. My uncle is the Secretary of Gulshan Society. I grew up in Dhaka before I settled in the UK back in 1993. I miss Dhaka. Dhaka is also the truly 24 hours alive city in the world. No not even NY really can claim this glory as I lived in NY as well.

Guys, I am a Bangladeshi living in France and I'm glad and thrilled to see you enjoying and having good time in Bangladesh. The best part is you covered both Urban and Rural areas althogu villages are disappearing because of urbanization. I was there in Dhaka in December and was quite surprised myself to see the positive changes. Anyways, please be safe and always travel with some locals.
