tvN 수목드라마 ‘하늘에서 내리는 일억개의 별’(연출 유제원, 극본 송혜진)의 첫 번째 OST인 이승열의 ‘썸데이(Someday)’는 상대방을 한없이 그리워하며 언젠가 함께할 그 날을 기다리는 마음을 담은 곡으로, 극중 무영(서인국 분)과 진강(정소민 역)의 서로를 향한 복잡한 감정을 대변하는 노래이다.
이 곡은 락 음악을 베이스로 서정적이고 몽환적인 기타 사운드와 잔잔한 피아노 및 오르간 선율이 아름답게 조화를 이루고 있다. 곡의 후반부로 갈수록 거친 기타 사운드와 이승열의 짙은 보이스가 더해져 곡의 감정을 고조시킨다.
앞서, 해당 OST는 지난주 방송된 5화 및 6화 엔딩에 삽입되어 시청자들의 이목을 단번에 사로 잡았으며, OST 관련 문의가 쏟아지는 등 뜨거운 관심을 모으기도 했다.
특히, 이승열은 tvN ‘미생’, ‘시그널’ 등 여러 드라마의 OST에 참여해 진한 음색과 독보적인 가창력으로 많은 사랑을 받아왔다. ‘시그널’ 이후 약 2년 반 만에 OST 작업에 참여하는 이승열이 다시 한 번 명품 OST를 탄생시킬 수 있을지 기대가 모아진다.
또한, ‘Someday’는 최근 많은 사랑을 받으며 종영한 tvN ‘미스터 션샤인’ OST에 참여한 싱어송라이터 하현상이 작사와 작곡을 맡았다. 동시에 tvN ‘응답하라 1994, 1988’ ‘디어 마이 프렌즈’, ‘또 오해영’, OCN ‘보이스’, ‘터널’ 등 많은 OST에 참여해온 김창완밴드의 이상훈이 프로듀싱과 편곡을 맡아 곡의 완성도를 높였다.

I was wondering..why everyone was saying they can't move on from this drama ...after watching this drama now I know why ....this masterpiece is just stuck in my head
Yes. Same here. This just stays with you. I'm frozen. So many things to reflect on. Although it left me wretching, one can see how the ending had to be what it was. I felt like I had to sleep for 24 hrs after I finished this drama.

This is so tragic and yet so beautiful love story. JSM and SIG's performance were outstanding. They portrayed their roles with rare subtlety and vulnerability which makes them so effective in what they do as they convey emotions to the viewers. The loving looks, the smile they gave to each other, the tight hugs, the sweet holding hands, and the way Somin hold SIG' s face with both hands tenderly...- no words are needed to describe their deep love for one another. The audience felt those too. Kudos to the director who gives emphasis on these things... Great drama, director, and the casting is on point. Love the soundtrack💙. I really hope to see JSM and SIG in another romantic drama series together with a happy ending, of course. 💖

really cry die me. very very sad ending. After complete the whole tv series, i come back to see this MV, it bring so much good memory about them.
Those two make my heart ache in the best way possible. The way they learn what true love and happiness from only each other, how they are each other's salvation... it's just so beautiful. The writers are amazing. And Jung So Min and Seo In Guk simply blow me away... bless them for bringing their characters to life so well. All the awards to them, especially Seo In Guk. He's something else.

Next summer is the premiere of the movie "wolf hunting." JungSoMin and SeoInGuk are in the movie. Although I don't think the theme is romantic.

There's beauty in this drama that not everyone recognize, the way it was well written by the screenwriter(s) is just enchantingly complex to the point that you will ache to know more about how will the plot unfold. This was a drama that I was hesitant to watch previously but when I sat down and gave it a chance I had no regrets. Realistic, raw, and tantalizing looking forward for more Kdrama with the same theme and story flow.

im always amazed how pretty somin's and in guk's eyes are. there are something about it that just memerixze me and makes them unique. their eyes speaks alot and loudly for them. i remember wishing that these two would have their own kdrama and literally cried when they announced that they will actually have one. one of the most heartbreaking drama ive ever watched.

오묘한 감정들을 다 가지며 본 최애... 엄청 재밌지는 않아도 이런 아련함 드라마지만 영화 한편을 본 듯 비운의 주인공들의 이야기 대사가 엄청 많지 않고 배우들만의 감정을 대사 뿐만이 아닌 표정 상황 말투 행동으로 보여주고 진짜 아련
For someone who is cold-hearted and doesn't care how others will feel about his actions, I love the fact that he was able to open his heart to Jin-Kang. As he even said at the end "I was able to breathe again". You did well, Moo-Young!

Is there any drama as wonderful and lovely as this one? After seeing that, I had a restless night. I was incredibly moved by the storyline and, in particular, the way In Guk carried the character all the way to the end! In Guk and Su Min have both done well in their roles!
There's a similar type of drama but with happy ending its called between lovers

i dont know but watching this video and other ost of this drama it feels different. Theres something in it. The genre of their ost are different from other kdrama ost. Its like the beat make us feel sad and like giving us spoiler that this drama will break our heart.

One of my favorite dramas with one of my favorite actors as the lead (In Guk) ♥
just watching this ost has me in tears. IT'S BEEN A FEW MONTHS SINCE I WATCHED THE DRAMA AND IT STILL HITS ME. everything was so beautiful about this drama. It was so real and jarring. The storyline was refreshing as so many k dramas can be pretty cliche these days. The main couple, and her brother REALLY did an amazing job. I can't believe it was acting bc they did such a good job, u could FEEL their love and see it even if they were just next to each other. The male lead did a fabulous job, he became moo young completely.

May this drama be featured in Netflix. Avid fan of #SeoInGuk here in the Philippines... I don't know if my perception is correct but the way I view it, Inguk is an underrated actor, low-key and not well-supported by his compatriots. Koreans do not see their rarest gem in the genuinely talented #SeoInGuk.

I love how he follows her around like a puppy who's totally enamored with her. Semi-stalking almost, LOL.
They deserved a happy life together. Truly. The male lead had such a traumatic life. I was bawling like a baby after I watched the show. I knew what was going to happen but still. The acting of the entire cast was outstanding. And the male lead was so true to his character. It was a beautiful and very dark story.
