Can you do 1) Optimization: Gradient descent and other optimization techniques (for finding model parameters). 2) Multivariate Calculus: Partial derivatives and gradients for complex models. 3) Set Theory and Logic: Underpin decision-making and classifications?
I started watching your content from the video about why maths is important for AI ML... and then I started the course of Neural Network & Deeplearning by andrew ng on coursera.. and got stuck at the maths part and then I saw your other video about 6 months AI ML roadmap... and since I already covered python 2 months back, I started with a new course on coursera, linear algebra for ML... and now your video comes in at a perfect time.
Keep up the good shows and you will get 100s of 1000s of subscribers. One note is to zoom in the code lines as 2/3 of the sxreen is not utilized. Your methodology of linking math with ML concepts together with the code such as mentioning L1 and L2 norms with similarity prediction is perfect. Thank you 👍
Your videos are great. They fill in the gaps in my ML class which should have had Linear Algebra as a prerequisite. Great for those of us pursuing a career in ML.
8:07 I guess that has to do with the different distance metrics they both relate to. Euclidean distance is the shortest distance (usually whats taught in school) whereas the Manhattan distance (also called taxi cab metric) finds the distance in a grid-like path with sharp corners, often see it used while working with maps.
The name derives from the distance a taxi has to drive in a rectangular street grid to get from the origin to a particular point. It is also known as the Manhattan norm because Manhattan has perhaps the most famous rectangular street grid.
Sir This video is really useful I was looking for a youtube channel where the person teach , Coding and Maths together, I'm happy that I found this Channel 😊 Please do more videos
Hello Great Sir, I'm sure this series will be a treasure trove for people moving into Analytics and ML. I hope you continue this and I'm looking forward to the next video in the series :D
Yoooo wait wait wait wtf this channel needs to be at over 1 million subscribers. I have been working as a backend developer and whenever I have been investigating ML and the math i was always made to feel like I would be wasting my time. When you explained a vector and matrix it made so much sense since i work with relational databases but i never broke it down to this basic 🎉❤ I do understand that many ai/ml roles do require a phd and or masters in mathematics, physics, comp sci amongst others but as a developer and the need to scale with ai / ml grows i hope to be able to leverage this and know how it would flow across a api for example
Was waiting for this man! Really appreciate the explanation, thanks for taking time out of your day to make the content. (Btw is it on purpose that the video just "ends"? Lmao)
i respect your efforts, but have to say messy and sometimes illegible squiggles ruined this for me. also, why can't youtubers simply use browser zoom or lower resolution during screen capture to make text and details easier to ingest?
Here's the playlist for math in AI and ML:

Stay consistent! You will get there.
This is what I needed, super fast and not too deep, so I get basic concepts and move on. Many thanks.
