Wow! This amazing movie is just garnished with the right amount of the gospel for lost and struggling souls. Everyone is valuable to God and it’s not his will that any soul should perish, He loves even when you’re busy trying to sink his voice.
I honestly think this is what the church needs. this is how churches should evolve into, not what is happening today. so many homeless persons who have lost their way because of the evils in this present world.

A movie full of truth and grace. The truth about how the many (and harsh) trials of life can harden our hearts so we turn away from the Lord, our only true Hope.. I pray (trust) His words here will be like arrows hitting the bullseye in the hearts of many (all?) who watch this movie.

Wonderful movie. Amazing how this doctor forgave himself and god for the death of his wife and son. Then he went on to help those really needed his care bringing them to Christ.

In this movie, being reminded of the "good times" is balanced by being shown the results of those times. Also, the representation of the effects of living in poverty and alcoholism and drug addiction and the reaching out for wealth and acceptance instead of the life of God's pathway, will In my opinion, lead more than one of your incarcerated friends to salvation! ISN'T IT WORTH IT to stir up some memories in the others, to save even a few??? Recommend this movie when you are doing your ministry!

i'm not so sure about your doubts... look where their "good times" got them! if they can't see that eternal life is better then they aren't ready for salvation--- yet. i think the bigger obstacle is for those who've lived in abject poverty. that's when it's difficult to see poverty for the sake of God as "better than" striving for wealth. bcz many ppl view wealth as freedom from problems...
Repent means go and sin no more.
Repent doesn't mean that you are sorry. The bible says that God doesn't even hear the prayers of sinners but only those who do the father's will

Jesus says repent that means go and sin no more. God's grace and mercy will give you strength to overcome sin. By Jesus blood we are saved by Grace. Not anything we have done. Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
if you go & tell God you never sinned after you were saved He may send you back for continued learning. gossipping, judging others, or unforgiveness can send us to Hell as quick as murder, etc... stingy-ness...

You need to stop believing that lie from the pit of hell. Salvation brings total from Sin, Self and Satan. With God all things are possible: including living a righteous life. Seek Him.

"The Healing" almost is comparable to "Swtichblade and The Church" in the Christian movies. At Gallaudet University as the undergraduate college student on campus, I read a Christian paperback--"Swtichblade and The Church" in true story of the Christian pastor in his Christian church in New York City, N.Y. won the souls of troubled teenagers, young drug addicts, other gang members and other unfortuntle ones by out spreading the word of God during early 1960's.
That was David Wilkerson. Amazing man of God. When I lived in NYC, I attended his church, Times Square Church. David has left this earth, but you can find hundreds of his sermons on RUclips. My real home is in Des Moines, Iowa where this movie was made. Thankful that the love of our heavenly Father was brought forth by Heartland Productions in so many movies.

they kind of slid over "repent". it is more important than he explained. remember, John the Baptist preached to ppl to "REPENT", everywhere he went? that's bcz the word "repent" actually means "change, turn away from, don't keep repeating our bad behavior"... and of course, "ask forgiveness" for what we've done wrong. the forgiveness of Jesus wipes our slate clean! as Jesus put it: when we confess our sins to Him & ask forgiveness He will "forgive our sins, & bury them in the deepest sea, & remember them no more." to me, that's a pretty good picture of forgiveness, as well as how important His forgiveness IS. but, remembering how much He suffered from the 39 lashes of that "cat o nine tails" whip, the beatings- the horrible beatings He endured. then the additional pain of hanging on the cross... with the nails in His wrists/hands & feet supporting the weight of His body.., my God! how could You let Your own Son endure all that unless it really WAS for accomplishing HIS paying OUR price for sins WE'VE committed? as you said? an image to burn in our minds. what more of a reminder do i need? a realistic, badly mangled, unrecognisable image of His body on the cross?
THAT'S a good reason to "repent"! eternal life is a bonus.
