Nice. Same motor ESC combo I am planning on installing in the grom. Just wish the bodies weren't so weak. My stock green one is taking some serious damage from just light bashing with the stock brushed motor. I imagine 3s/4s will destroy it in no time.

So what receiver works with the slt2 radio?
I believe the spektrum sr 215 will bind up to the slt 2. I think the receiver I was trying to bind was too old. Thank you for watching!👍💥👌

I not a fan of upgrade to brushless on my gorgon.i messed up my voltage truck going brushless motor.
It can be a lot of work lol. You definitely only want to go brushless if the drive train can handle it and make sure all the gears match pitch.

It's Soo much fun.
Truck is not designed for 4s power and is not necessary for that truck. Be prepared to destroy your drivetrain say goodbye to your plastic driveshafts. A person that has knowledge in this hobby would run a 3s brushless system with a bigger pinion gear. My gorgon flip's on it's back on 3s.
You are correct!! It's definitely way too much for this truck I think I'm just going to use the 17 tooth with 3s!
@@ReactionRC l know l am correct. Been in this hobby for 20 years. Arma are the trucks l run. There's very little l don't know about them. If anything.

This is the same setup I have on my gorgon. I also had to switch the motor wires. I run a 17t pinion. On 2s I can run for several hours straight, and the motor never gets hot. It actually doesnt even get warm. There is a $17 fan on amazon I used that works perfectly. I could not be happier with the performance. Honestly, 3s is a little too much. I also used double sided tape.
