That’s what struck me. She’s so relaxed, and her voice is pure. She makes look like it’s easy and fun.

Her pitch and tone stays the same all the way through the song, which is incredibly hard to do, she could of really gone to town on some of those notes but she stayed true to the song which just added to the magic of her performance...

As the lead singer in a small band once upon a time I recognize talent when I see it or hear it and this young lady has an IMMENSE AMOUNT OF IT!!! I absolutely love her voice with that teeny tiny touch of rasp in it and the ad lib she does. Her timing is spot on. Her vocals make her sound 25 years older and much more musically educated than she actually is and just...WOW. I could listen to this sweet young talent all weekend! Way to go Lanie!

You had me until you wrote “much more musically educated than she actually is.” How would you know? Maybe she got her masters from Berklee School of Music at age 5. Her parents could be symphonic concert masters, etc. Anything is possible in this day and age.

I was borderline thinking the same thing. It's ironic to say that she sounds identical to Stevie Nicks, then to say she sung it better, takes it further away from sounding just like Stevie Nicks. It's a self-defeating paradox that seems impossible but here we are.
I agree...I like it better as well. She has that silky smooth rasp in her voice, that Stevie has, but she is better at enunciation of her words than Stevie and I think that's the difference.
