Dang, dude, I think i actually remember you. I was thinking, Bruce Blitz, that rings a bell but I can't remember exactly from where. You used to teach people to draw...and it was awesome. My dad showed me your television show from back in the day and it was pretty cool. You always knew just what you were doing. Nice to see you're still doing well.
I think Bruce Blitz is a legendary cartoonist! He's the best!
i love how simple Bruce keeps things. An entire story in just one page with minimal dialog is chef's kiss
Thanks Bruce! It's been 3 years since I watched this video and until now I have made more than 30 comic strips. You were my inspiration! ( My comics are really cool ).
I remember watching this when I was 8, time flies by so fast.
Used to make comics all the time when I was younger. They weren't very good, but this guy definitely helped lol.
Seeing ur drawings and learning them made me a successful comics artist thanks bruce
I used to watch this when I was a kid. Thanks Bruce for all you did!!

Hi Bruce. Great video. One question. How do those comics get that glossy look and feel? I'm currently writing, storyboarding and drawing my own graphic novel and would like it to look as professional as it can be. I just wondered if there was a website or company that could take my paper copy and make it into a 'proper' comic you know.
@vintage1351 Thanks for writing and for the kind words! Please keep watching my vids here on RUclips. Your friend Bruce
Can you please !!!
make more videos
BRUCE YOU ARE THE BEST! and your very kind and nice!
It's so helpful!
Thanks Mr. Blitz for this 5 minute video pretty much covered everything I needed to know. I own iOS and Mac Apps like Strip Designer, iDraw, Pixelmator, and Handy Photo which I plan to use when creating some upcoming comics.
Again this video was a huge help and thanks!
very use full thanks
@XDavidxDespairX Thanks for your comment... but what's a Lable? I thought it was spelled Label.
Ok
When i need to ink the final copy, did you only have oneside with drawings on it, or when u made the whole comic did u like print it on both sides. if theres panels on each side would the marker or color leak through?
I like the deepness of your voice. It sounds like a radio disc jockey or journalist. Cool!
@msuperskarmory you can draw a rough drawing then try to figure out the porportions of your character's body and go from there. I have that problem too sometimes.
what kind of program can i use to color in my comic book on the computer?
I don't have ink but is it alright if I use a sharpie?
what do you thinks beter, anyone, books or comics?
This is awesome! I'm having a hard time trying to get a good plot for my comic but in a short amount of pages.
Bruce, I have watched all your videos and thank you for each one and if you 'Keep on Cartoon' ', then so will I!
really useful thanks
What kind of marker did you use in 3:42
What The Dynamic! Good stuff......
I'm a cartoonist and I'm working on my very first comic book and its really working out great. this video helped me a lot to improve my comic. :D
its my virson of the tenage mutant ninja turtles, i don't know if i will publish it cuz i haven't worked on it in a while. its pretty crappy for a comic book, im going to make a better one to publish. ^_^
+BBghost45 You sholdn't publish it.The TMNT are copyrighted and you could get in deep shit by publishing and earning money from it,with copyrighted characters.
I have a problem.Im a good drawer, but everytime i draw i draw it in too much detail so i cant draw it again, well I can but it doesnt look the same and i cant change his posision in the next scene. Any help ? btw I love your channel and I loved your show when i was a kid! :)))
a simplyfied but also very enjoyable how to video
Its got pretty good tips the basics like brainstorming and stuff, the basics believe it or not is super important! Ive learned them in writting class. Im now graduated, but I was at a "college level" so my writting teacher said. But its good to have a refreshier, sometimes I forget to use the basics... youve inspired me to keep going, and make my comic mistakes and all. Also I was wondering is there a way to make the book itself? Like putting the pages together and stuff, is what I mean,
Never heard of him till I watched this video and I wished I was born when this aired on tv or however people got to watch him I don’t know for sure but I think he’s making a come back he made a new video not to long.

@@BruceBlitzArt Thanks! I’ve watched this video when I was a little boy. I’m 21 years old now and I’m still drawing.
Try looking into crowd funding sights like Kickstarter where you post a project proposal and people donate to it. Look into print-on-demand printing sights like Ka-Blam and Café’ Press. There you can order as little a ONE issue. Gone are the days of having to be picked up by a big publisher or distributer like Diamond and having to order 5,000 issues from a printer where the unsold issues just sit in your kitchen. Also check out Manga Studio. It’s the ONLY software designed for comic book art.
manga studio debuts really good for inking and colouring (i got mine for £15 on amazon) or you can try downloading gimp, i've never used it myself but i've heard good things about it. I think it's free to download.
Wait... I think I have this guys boom. One with a wheel thing on the front to match heads, shirts and pants.
