Vision Board & Goal Setting for Kids

On January 5th, I had the incredible honor of speaking at the Diaspora Parenting Hub on the importance of creating vision boards and setting intentional goals for children. This inspiring and interactive session was designed to empower parents with practical tools to help their kids thrive in 2025 and beyond.
During this session, I shared:
• The Power of Vision Boards: How visualizing dreams and goals can inspire children to believe in their potential and stay motivated.
• Effective Goal-Setting Techniques: Step-by-step strategies for setting realistic and achievable goals tailored to children’s unique needs, whether neurodivergent or neurotypical.
• Practical Ways to Support Growth: Tips for parents to nurture their children’s progress and celebrate their milestones throughout the year.
• Building a Strong Parent-Child Connection: Using vision boards and goal setting as a bonding activity to foster open communication and shared aspirations.
Parents left the session equipped with actionable insights to support their children’s development in key areas such as communication, academics, social skills, and independence.
