Tibetan artist Tenzin Rigdrol’s artwork ‘Biography of a Thought’ has been installed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from 19th September as part of its Tibetan Buddhist Art Exhibition ‘Mandala: Mapping the Buddhist Art of Tibet’. His immersive and compellingly relevant installation draws on the foundation of rich historical material to create a space for inspired contemplation. The exhibition provides a roadmap for understanding Himalayan Buddhist worship through early masterworks, juxtaposed with a contemporary installation.
