It’s interesting how Boothill, Aventurine, Rappa, despite their energetic unpredictable daredevil attitude all have traumatising backstories beyond human mental shock tolerance. You really ROOT for their vengeance instead of falling for the « revenge is bad » discourse. Hope they succeed in it.

I love how when hes returnin back to normal, you can here his synthesia beacon and tone slowly change back to his old self, ie gets more staticy, more raspy, more muddle fudgers are dropped, etc. Someone really wanted this dialogue to work. Perfect example of good directin
The way he's so down on himself and defaults to assuming people have bad intentions or impressions of him makes me so sad. Example being when he thought Robin called him a bother, or in his healed voice line where he assumes the healing comes for a price, or when with march he refers to himself as the dimmer of the two. He even states in his voicelines that he isn't a "good seed" He's such a well written character omgggasdnf

It's not you. He really was calm, tried not to swear too much. He is really hot-tempered with the others, he even tries to shoot them (NPC too), but not her. Also, he supported her before the party. I love them both, such a nice ship for me
it’s nice for Boothill to actually get screen time. In 2.2 he was irrelevant to the story or had small appearances which set him in a lower level of the stage
Little quick tip, theres also dialogue if you decide to go with the second plan and it also has a change of dialogue with the guard of the meetin when you present the pass. That was the option i chose lol
youve missed another scene when robin and boothill were trying to find a way to get in the test. There were a bunch of people on the sidelines, specifically those people who were causing on dreamflux reef, and he beats the lots of em with robin (even tho robin had another plan lol)
I almost jumped when Boothill said "Nick" in the story, my display name in Hsr is literally "Nick" and i was like... Since when did characters voice Trailblazer's name? 💀 after a bit of digging in Boothill's story, I understood he wasn't refering to me (Trailblazer) XD
Hmm, back on the topic on canon vs fanon, i can see that bein a debate here with robin and boothill bein a possible ship or possibly just friends. Maybe because of the second option i chose to do(i still talked to the other npcs and got their dialogues with the second option bein the last interaction.), but im in the latter category simply cause of the presentation. Especially afterwords when he gets blunt on her about him not givin a ratsass about good or evil but will serve justice no matter what. Them just bein friends seems to make more sense. Still i can be wrong, maybe i misread it. Its still interestin to discuss.
I using no logic and going by feeling alone think boothill could develop feelings for robin but robin wouldn’t 😂😂 Then using logic if robin does develop feelings for him, he probably wouldn’t accept because he sees himself as a vessel of revenge so he wouldn’t think he’s human enough for her and say she deserved someone more whole 😢 ( the devs definitely listens to their audience and gave us Boobin crumbs to feed on ❤😂 thank you for the boothill content 🎉yeehaw)
they have barely interacting in canon so is impossible to them to be actually something romantic, Robin didn't seem very interested with him in the quest she was just triying to be polite since they were working together and Boothill was just being a gentleman
