Me! Funny watching that lady jump. When I lived in near Chicago I would take my Supra into the city and scare the shit out of people sitting on the patios of bars and restaurants. I had the backfire down to a tee and loved hitting the anti lag at stop lights. I've had a few people jump out of their chairs and hit the deck thinking someone was shooting or something. The best was a Milw cop, I was downtown and did the anti lag at a stop light. I didn't see the cop but when I did he gave me the thumbs up. Classic moments I'll never forget.
My car did that when the O2 sensors were screwed and I was too lazy to replace them. You don't need a performance car to have a backfire, you just need a car that is spewing gas out the exhaust. :)

Yo, Jizz168: Lose the attitude. This video ain't nuthin compared to my old carbureted engine days. I'd turn the key off and turn it back on resulting in massive explosions...if done right. Mufflers were a no-no. They'd blow right open. Always replaced them w/glasspacks. Got a carbureted engine? Try it sometime. THAT'S scaring the crap out of people. Just don't do it around that wet blanket Jizz168.

If only people realized, the second you heard the exhaust note get deeper - Only seconds after did it hit redline. In other words/ Wheel spin/Torque=Big 3.0 liters of air entering the 2JZ. With its cast iron block it allows a lot of power to be delivered to the crank shift without touching internals - In other words this low costing 2JZ-GTE (probably single turbo) supra is approximately producing roughly 500+ HP with simple turbo/intake modifications. Silly car noobs.
4WD of R34 is just a waste, that is because supra is better and has better&stronger engine, rwd its enough, on drag 4wd, you have more heavy and the difference is minimal, or circuit race, both cars are the same , and supra is rwd and is very easy to drive, so those kids saying R34 is better than supra because has 4wd, is just stupid, just think on heavy distribution when the acceleration happens, traction on front of R34 is just minimal, I saw drag from supra and it didn't had lost of traction

toyota produced a car in the mid 80s called the CelicaSupra, which was sold in either FWD or AWD...so technically it is possible to have a fwd supra.
