    The one positive about YMAX/YMAG paying out weekly is that it should reduce the tourist distribution erosion.

    I agree that a higher inception price doesn't stop NAV erosion. It just allows it to drop farther to hold off a reverse split.

    I think we were sold a dream. That dream is attainable as long as both parties, including us, do it correctly. Yesterday was the improvement plan but we still have to understand how to play these (when to buy and drip). We were told that there would be risk and if you’re young you should be able to take more risk.. We can’t panic, just like bitcoin trust the process and be patient. This is new, the kinks are being worked out and this space will eventually change the game as we know it.. Don’t take anyone’s word for it just do your research and have conviction.

    • @IncredibleCrimeStory
      @IncredibleCrimeStory 12 дней назад

      Correct and the likely outcome with be a more stabilized NAV with overall lower yields. Its the Ying and Yang. The promotion in on the likely benefit without really admitting that there is a downside effect (lower yields) in general. There is no free lunch. Always a cost. Look at KURV funds they produce in geenral a lower Yield but have more stable NAV. In a down market if that happens you will get NAV reduction regardless. So always be bullish on any income ETF's underlying position..

    I actually think it will help because by merely taking longer to reverse split you have more time collecting payouts and more time for downtrends to reverse. Not a solution by any means but it is a better idea than the current 20 price. All else being equal assuming a $1 per month drop in nAv you get 41 months of payouts vs 11. In those 41 theres a greater chance the payout will exceed the drop some months than in 11 months. If that makes any sense

    • @targetedwealthcreation207
      @targetedwealthcreation207  12 дней назад +2

      I think a more reasonable price hike would have been $30. Unless you expect a massive underlying drop then $30 is a 50% price hike. That why i think what was not said is way more importantthat what was said to justify such a lofty increase.

    Definitely seeing some issues with the spread on CONY today. The long call $10 over the weekly seems too high. Looks like CONY is going to lose the weekly at $160 but make nothing on the $170 long call. I know they are judging their price points based on maintaining the IV but I would like to see a tighter long call.

I put all CONY divs into QDTE and if I sell CONY thats where the money will go. MSTY I keep buying and use all it's divs to buy more and will continue to buy as much as possible until it dips below a buck a month divs. I'll keep MSTY until it gets down to 55-60 cent divs or 16 a share then it will be time to look close and probably dump it and put it into QDTE and/or XTDE if they are still doing what they're doing. Putting money into AMZY may be a good option at that time too. We'll see what we see.

    The reason ULTY is linked with YMAX and YMAG on the 9/18/2024 dec date is because it was already scheduled for that date. Beginning the week of 9/25/2024 YMAX and YMAG begin their weekly distribution. ULTY stays on it's monthly schedule which coincides with Group C. I'm not sure why that confused you. I never would block anyone on my channel for their honest thoughts. And thanks you for expressing yours. The issue with Jay honestly IMHO is he sees ROD and another he mentioned as his go to RUclipsrs. They have blasted me and ROD even tried to block me from posting my videos on Redit where he is the moderator of a Yieldmax sub group. So no love lost there. i quickkly turned that around by thereating to expose his malicious attempt at blocking me so he back off on that quickly. So im sure jay has heard his rhetoric. At this point I see Jay and YM for what they are. BIAS against myself and other top options knowlegable persons. Its up to the marketplace (you guys) to ask for diversity and fairness. i am quite successful in my own investing and have lost interest in promoting YM due to their lack of objectivty. I also turned down 3 other interviews with CEO's of other funds over the last 2 weeks. This will be my last complaint on this topic but there is a lot of history here to say the least. @@virginiasilano7371 Because if they sell a call at let's say $100 and the underlying rises above $100 then the call can get exercised by someone who owns the contract. YM uses flex options so they can't get exercised before the expiry date so if YM wants to get out of the call that they sold, there is a cost to do so. The higher above the strike the price is the more expensive it gets to (buy back) get out of the call they sold, so while the synthetic increases in value, the sell-call decreases into the negative by the same amount. That is what causes the cap. If the price increases but stays below the sell-call strike then we capture all the appreciation without a cap.
