- A huge shake up at Tesla as Elon has new focus. This has to be a very, very good sign of things to come, and makes so much sense of many decisions that have taken place in the last weeks.

We have two goals on this channel. Provide useful information about Elon Musk and his related businesses and provide some context to the Tesla stock story as it relates to the economy, the macro, the fundamentals, and the technicals.
I have written 10 books about small business, several of which are currently available on Amazon, including two Amazon Best Sellers about Elon Musk. - Хобби
There was Tesla owner in Indiana who was complaining that he had to drive all the way to Illinois for service and body work.
You can currently buy a well equipped Tesla model Y below the average listing price of 47k for all cars and for the average commute you will save an additional 200-300 per month in gas. Do the math I did and bought my first American made car since 1987. This is why bought a Tesla model Y. You simply can’t argue with the numbers.
For what!?better buy a Volvo EX30 for 32k or a used Chevy Bolt,or a basic Toyota Corolla hybrid for 24k
Grok AI interaction in the Tesla's is like the next natural progression. I think i can't even imagine getting the m3 i want without it.
I want it to be the voice of FSD and it can communicate to me what its doing. Eg,"moving to the road shoulder to allow ambulance to pass"
Or "remember that time you got rear ended by a BYD two yrs ago, well that's what i just avoided again with the Volvo behind you now."
Grog is good,"

I totally agree with you that sales & marketing badly needs more focus.
For sure. Charging and range anxiety is a big thing with people I talk to. Meanwhile, there are tesla chargers everywhere, and range is more than adequate. I will never go back to ice
Trucks and vans (high millage vehicles') for construction worker who could use a break from gas prices. Then it will get adopted in chunks, But what do I know?
Randy, you have to be the most optimistic RUclipsr on the internet...great content.

Tesla profits are forecast to 3x over the next five years.
what most analysts think is going to happen. Through 2028, most forecasts see Tesla tripling its 2024 earnings to end up with a $25.8 billion net profit in 2028
@@mylimomelbourne4757yes the FUD is working harder than ever but its days are numbered.
I strongly suspect that Elon got tired of the lack of progress in several areas. Battery manufacturing, release of updated Model 3 and Model Y, construction in Nevada, China, Mexico and Germany and so on. He sees great progress in FDS and wants to capitalize on progress now. I’m not suggesting that Tesla is not making progress in all these areas but just not fast enough for Elon. He may have decided that now is the time to take charge. Should be fun to watch!
You guys make great points - growing the base means steps have to be taken to move beyond the bi-costal technophile population that came pre-sold on the ideas.
BMW and Merceded have a great look. Teslas look slightly Toyota-ish. The general look of the cars could use some shaping.
All I know is I’m seeing a lot of Teslas out there.
Tesla earnings call is on TUESDAY (23 April), not Wednesday.
Great Channel Randy IMO I hope Tesla can start delivering earnings growth instead of just talking about the company all the time.
My opinion on the 25K car is that the design is basically done for both the car and the manufacturing line. The hold up is getting the supply chain able to produce the batteries and the parts. Shipping parts around the world in the current environment is risky. The Chinese parts makers are finding Mexico is not as inviting as they though it would be. It may also take awhile to develop efficient processes to make new parts.
OK time to add chapters. Just do it.
Unfortunately we do not have any financial insight into X. When Elon took over, Twitter/X was in a quite challenging state. Would be very interesting to see how much it changed in detail and why after he restructured the whole thing and redirected the strategy.
We can infer a lot from the occasional remarks. For example a few months ago Elon said X is strongly trending toward profitability, and while there was a big drama soon after, recently Elon said that almost all advertisers are back. He also regularly shows record traffic. Put these together and you can conclude that very likely X is doing fine. And the drama seems to be subsiding overall, the world is getting used to Elon's antics, and Elon seems to be more restrained. Plus we know that Elon has big plans with X and that he's not a procrastinator, so the business should improve quickly in the future. Especially once they launch financial services, that's a very high margin business if you can leverage your already existing infrastructure.
Elon refocusing on Tesla also suggests that X is doing fine. When Elon bought Twitter 2 years ago that was a sign that he is bored, which means not much for him to do at Tesla. He launched the humanoid bot program for the same reason, but it proved to be too easy, and didn't need him.
Oh, and one more clue is the ad revenue share program. The amount of money creator get from X is proportional to the money X is making. Recently people reported big numbers.
I used to live in Illinois and it was. Said "if it plays in Peoria it will play anywhere ".

I hate going to car dealers. I've kept my current soccer mom car 17 years. Drove it all over California calling on clients and medical offices and take my golf clubs and fishing gear under my cott in the back. Still waiting for a van from Tesla.
A friend just had his new 2024 model y delivery. FSD wasn’t even mentioned. Are you listening Elon?
Got my Model X a few weeks ago. No mention then either
Delayed canceled or otherwise it will significantly affect the price of the stock in 2025 to 2028 time frame at least. It will also affect the adoption rate of BEV’s over the next 3 to 5 years.
But we will have to wait to see if the affect will be positive or not.
Randy, you keep saying that no one has said the $25K car is not delayed. However, my understanding, the restructuring has dissolved the groups working on the $25K car. Those resources have been redirected to the robotaxi.
As far as we know they are the same platform
Or there was no more engineering work needed on the $25k car. Unfortunately, e-lawn prefers to brutalize the stock by telling us nothing. Saying what your intentions are and when you expect results provides zero advantages to the competition.
They tell us nothing about Cybahtruk production & delivery, nor will they tell reservation holders where they are in the queue and how long they might be waiting
So Randy Dandy Kirk is the new expert on Tesla car design. He better leave this to the real professionals at Tesla who are all word class professional engineers and not bicycle water bottle manufacturers with Hawaiian shirts.
My Tesla investment has been nothing but disappointing and depressing
Yep, I'm down 7 figures. I was hoping to retire this year
If Elon want to increase sales he needs to: 1) Except for strictly technical announcements, stay off social media. 2) Allow FSD owners to transfer to a new Tesla.
Nope. One of the main reasons why Tesla has such a big and active community is Elon's engagement on social media.
And even his political stuff is a net positive. According to surveys only a tiny but loud minority boycotts Tesla on the left, but Elon is gaining a lot of new customers on the right. And Historically the left bought Teslas, and once you go Tesla you stay Tesla. There's a lot of "I hate Elon, but the car is too good". But the right hates EVs, so Tesla needs marketing there. And especially for the Cybertruck, because truck people are generally conservative and hate EVs passionately.
What Tesla really needs, as it was discussed many times, is education. According to anecdotal data and also surveys, still most people have no idea how good a Tesla is, and how cheap. There are a lot of people who never even heard of the Cybertruck, which is amazing considering the amount of media coverage it got due to the window mishap.

Today RK says he's started 40 businesses, but he's said in the past he's owned about 45 companies, yet his Amazon bio says 20+ businesses, fifteen of which helped him pay the mortgage...notice he did not say they were profitable. He has also said he started his first business at age 22 and he is now 59. So, he wants us to believe he's owned 45 companies in a span of 37 years, AND he was an NFL football player for 13 seasons. He also says for over 40 years he's been founding, running, and writing about businesses. So, the math says he's been doing this for 37 years, but he claims it has been over 40 years??? This guys is all over the map with his credibility claims.
Plug-in hybrids with a 1,200 kilometre range are very appropriate for Australia in places where you need super long range in outback country I don't understand the super level of hostility against plug-in hybrids for use certain use cases all sorts of hatred Fanatics completely irrational
Agree!
I think developers and home builders did not buy into instally Tesla chargers and Powerwalls or any other provider's because of the narrow market they served. Install a Tesla home charger, well what if the home owner does not own a Tesla, they own another BEV?? .
Now with NACS charging standard this barrier is gone.
I hope Elon and Tesla will be partnering with major home and indeed commercial property developers and builder now.
This also helps with solar roof instal where the cost of the roof is absorbed by a mortgage and ofset by a more desirable property.
So in total Tesla can make inroads with Powerwalls and chargers and solar roof and sell at the wholesale level.
As a package Tesla could offer builders and developers a slice of the VPP action if that is sold to home buyers and appartment block developers. This would give them some recuring income to sweaten the pie.
I think Elon needs to fire their sales and marketing director and maybe the entire team for home energy products.
All the above is not rocket science.
« He probably heard it from me » is the most rediculous and laughable statement ever uttered on RUclips
Can FSD use judgement like a human, when you someone is tailgating you, and you have a yellow light and it slams on the breaks and you get rear ended. FSD I doubt could ever be a better driver than myself. There is too much hesitation. Can the video transfer data to the steering wheel then make decisions. I have my doubts. I been using FSD for 3 weeks now, I will buy another Tesla Model Y. I would use the subscription for long trips and then turn off when not using the car so much. You guys are way overestimating the earnings potential. Maybe the humanoid robot would more feasible.
non a cult stock when this chap has a framed photo of the leader on his wall lol
Possibly he bought in 2018 and 10x'd his investment. If e-lawn makes me $30M in the next 5 years, I'll do more than put his poster on my wall
Fsd will show its true value when it becomes unsupervised. Im not interested in fsd until I can sleep in the back. I might as well just drive if I have to pay attention. Everyone will want to have it at that point.
You've never tried even basic Autopilot then. Supervising is like 90% less effort and stress than driving yourself. And safer too, because you can focus on situational awareness while the car is doing the actual driving, and the car has 360 vision and faster reflexes.
A 4 hour drive using supervised FSD leaves you refreshed, like being a passenger. For $3/day. Absolutely.
@andrasbiro3007
Maybe you're a high anxiety driver. I find its hesitations at intersections and bizarre lane change choices very frustrating.
Plus, does it know I don't want to follow semi-trucks that throw rocks at the car? I don't think it does.
@@yourlogicalnightmare1014
No, I love driving. But you've never tried even basic Autopilot. This is one of those things that you'll never understand until you've tried. Then you'll realize how much work driving really is.
Irrelevant, you wouldn't care if you were sleeping in the back.
Also, most users don't have an issue with either. Your are annoyed because it doesn't drive like you. You would be similarly frustrated by a timid human driver.
Even the old Autopilot stays far away from semis. It's really annoying, I have to change lane a mile early or it will start to brake.
And FSD learns to drive by imitating humans. It already learned a lot of similar little tricks.
It is totally ridiculous to compare Randy Kirk to Elon Musk or bicycle water bottles to EV’s. His whole blog is an ego trip for self - agrandising rather than bringing us anything usefull

I swear I can make a 25k Tesla Model 3 in 30 days.
Give me a running model 3 line, maintenance crew and a handful of engineers.
The bitcoin halving doesn't have an imidiatly effect on price. It will show up during the next 2-5 month. I think it will reach 100.000+ this year and 200.000 next year.
