Very nice living area. Although we all love HT room, outdoor is definitely necessary 😀😀😀👍👍👍
Nice looking setup, and I'll leave you alone about the grill (the grill/smoker is the most important part of your backyard). What I will mention about is the hot tub. One of the houses my parents built in Tennessee, they installed a 6-person hot tub. They used that hot tub probably 6 times in 3 years.
I always said to install a pool, but they were against it because they were told pools don't add value, and sometimes depreciates the value. Anyway, I bought a house in Alabama that had a pool, and we use it more than my parents used the hot tub. And it simply looks nicer. The dogs love it during the summer months. Maintenance costs are about the same (~$30/month).

Very nice Michael! I remember watching your outdoor speaker instal vid that was real cool. I love outdoor living areas and most times my wife and I spend more time outback gardening and grilling and playing with our dog then we do in the theater!

I use the OSD audio Black 5500 amplifier to power 4 Polk OS70 speakers. I just ordered the OSD 8” outdoor speakers to combine into my deck audio system. I’ll be interested to see how the OSD compare to the old Polks which I’ve always been very happy with. Great setup you have.

Awesome! Do you have the subs powered by the 2x500W amp from OSD? Any integration issues with the rest of the speakers, like delay or other issues? Great stuff!
Cool setup! And no shame in the grill mark on the house. It'd be more common here in KC if it weren't for ordinance up here to grill at least 10 ft away from a structure.
What receiver do you use for the speakers out there? (update... I saw the description 🤦)
True story, I had finished grilling and turn the burners up all the way to clean it. I went inside, many many minutes later realized it was still on and when I came outside he was to say he was ridiculously hot and the flames were quite high lol very fortunate I did not burn the house down

did I miss something? All the speakers.. What did it sound like? Were the neighbors pissed for all the overkill outside? The houses seemed so close. Is a video missing of the sound of all that work?
I think it sounds very nice. The purpose of having multiple speakers is so that you don’t have to crank it up so loud, and everyone in every zone has adequate volume and can still talk and carry on a conversation. My neighbors have never once complained as I’m very respectful of them OSD offers a great value. They are much higher end options out there but you’re going to spend a lot more to get it.

I shared in my videos, the reason for having multiple speakers is so that you don’t have to turn it up very loud to get good coverage across the outdoor living area. I have a great relationships with each of my neighbors and have never disturbed them.
