Does a particular model have a NTSC / PAL switch? ...also check and make sure the 3 / 4 switch is in the right position. I had something like that happen before where, while moving it around, it got switched to channel 4 instead of 3 that I normally used. when I turned on the TV to channel 3 it looked kind of like that.
Weird! Although I doubt it's to do with the video heads.. Sound doesn't come out the speakers?

I'm using it thru RCA cables, no need for either switches. I'm certain it's a problem within the video output board.. perhaps a bad solder joint?
