Every track of Kid A feels perfectly placed and not one song is unnecessary or bloated. From the groovy synths of everything in its right place and the manic jazz of the national anthem, to the fuzzing electronic symphony of idioteque and the emotional sucker punch that is motion picture soundtrack. But obviously this is just my opinion, ok computer is undoubtebly a classic album and is worthy of the praise it gets. Kid A is just worthy of more 😉 [imo]

When I first got Kid-A when it came out (mind you it was following ok computer so my hopes were extremely high) my first night listening I was like WTF is this? Turned it off and was a little taken back. The second night of listening to it I understood everything. Mind you I was a little stoned but that’s all it took. I was listening differently. I was hearing all the hidden gems and secrets that make Radiohead who they truly are. This album blew my F’ing mind away- trap door and all, I was gone. This album spent that entire month of October on repeat.

It is possible that Idioteque is an unofficial Single and Morning Bell is a B Side Track, Reason is that Morning Bell Appears in Both Kid A and Amnesiac and since Both Albums were recorded the same time, it might be possible that Morning Bell Would of Appeared in Amnesiac only and as a B - Side to Idioteque.

It's been a while but just to fill you guys in: They experiment with their songs in different ways, and do make multiple versions of most of what they record. I think it was Phil that said they just so happened to like both versions of Morning Bell enough to release them. It could still be a B side of course, but I dunno. With all this in mind I think they just wanted to show off a version that fit Kid A and one they just enjoyed.
Even though I love Amnesiac so much, I always thought that the morning bell version on that album was hard to digest, thus making it the worst song of the album. But this one offers a lot to think. Cheers.
