Coincidentally, Patriotic Archive posted a very different (march) version of this just earlier today: ruclips.net/video/3vPCZhtqQkI/видео.htmlsi=vPu8lP55oI2IuoCQ
There's lots of other similar, good stuff on his channel as well.

Is it an Old Welsh Harp or is the song meant to be sung in Old Welsh?

@@johnnotrealname8168 Just an old Welsh version on the harp :) apparently it had been played like this specifically on the harp for 200 years by the time Richards recorded it. The lyrics were originally in Welsh as well, though - but not Old Welsh.

Wouldn’t work in Zulu this one.
    Silly.
It’s hard to hear this song without referencing back to that battle of voices, this a like a whole new piece of music and I can’t tell how it should make you feel.

Silly? Lol. I just wanted to include Zulu in the tags for people looking for Men of Harlech in search, if that's what you mean. It's like a new piece if you only know the march/soldiers singing versions but this is the much older folk variant. You can definitely tell it's the same melody, though.

@@Vingul oh no I know and understand. I mean it puts it in a whole new light and perspective. Like imagine Teufelslied on a xylophone, whole different experience but original renditions will always haunt it

@@whiggles9203 Gotcha! I see what you mean now. Teufelslied on xylophone -- reminds me of the "ringtone version" of Erika, haha: ruclips.net/video/z6eTVOIX6fw/видео.htmlsi=jjcfh4-JP6bnNUaN
