The festivities for a normal 2 days the welcome dinner replaces the rehearsal dinner, as there is no rehearsal for the Mormon ceremony. And then the wedding and the reception the following day. The other activities that we saw were simply a family and making a vacation out of the necessary travel for the wedding and helping with setting up and getting ready the few days before pretty typical. This was kind of like a hybrid destination wedding because Mitchell is from Northern California and Maddie a lot of Maddie's family is from Utah and other places so that's why it seems so drawn out.
I’m so happy for them both. May God bring blessings after blessing to them both. I know that papa Bingham and Justin Bingham’s spirit is with them and the hole family and is so proud of them.
It was so good to see Lindsey and the kids they have been missed. Oh my gosh the food looked so awesome. Madie and Mitchel are so beautiful together I wish them a life fill with love and happiness. Thank you for sharing this special day.
A perfect wedding! Beautiful bride! What a great pairing of smart beautiful young people. God has really blessed them. So glad Lindsey came and had a good time. This has to be so difficult yet so exciting.
It was also kinda hard for me to watch Madi and Mitchell’s wedding as well simply bc I am not in the same position as her in life (when I feel like I should be). I say and think this way because one of my good friends in HS also got married last year and found her forever and life friend also at BYU as they stayed in the same apartment. Both also served their respective LDS missions too. But, as far as Ik, my friend and her forever partner had an official open ceremony instead of a temple sealing/closed ceremony. One of my other good friends I met in college, at the time a med school student and now in her residency, also got married last year to her forever and lifelong friend too and…here too…me not being able to relate. To hopefully keep things watered down enough here, I’ve tried finding my potential forever partners (esp those I still have contacts with) from my HS and I even tried family friends and still nothing seems to work for me. So now, I’ve just been feeling frustrated, disappointed and mainly feeling like I’m less than/seem inferior to my friends and idk 🤷🏻♀️ if it’s necessary to feel bad or not about this? Any tips/advices/thoughts? Or words of wisdom? Anything and everything is appreciated!

RyGuy, Krew, Brex, Hazy (TIHWB), Lando, Ashy, Ava (OLIH) and the Revelli’s and their kiddos going to Madi and Mitchell’s wedding kinda reminded me of and made me think back to a few years ago when a family friend of mine, their oldest daughter was getting married as well to her forever and lifelong partner and friend and when my family and I went to her wedding. But, that wedding trip for me kinda took a downturn so I’m not sure if my family and her family are still on good terms with each other or not bc we haven’t been in touch since then (and I’m feeling guilty I broke a lifelong family friend relationship) but I also had good memories too. Wedding I attended a few years back was also in California but at Carmel by the Sea and I don’t remember seeing a pool at the venue I went to So wedding venue I went to in California very different from the venue Madi and Mitchell picked but Madi and Mitchell’s wedding venue was also stunning too. My HS friend and her forever friend may have also been sealed in a temple too but that I’m not 100% on.
