I have lvl11 Edgar, but i use damage + shield You can jump on someone with your extra life and if you recover life through hits, doing extra damage restores even more life and you can get the shield back quickly
All these gadgets and star powers are almost identical. Nothing fresh. This shield is just extra hp that disappears after a while. Wouldn't say it's OP at all...
