I got a question that I haven't heard answered in any gear video I've seen and it seems like the most important question to ask if you don't know the answer. How do I know if a piece is an Ancient, or an improved piece of gear? Do you just have to roll the piece to see if the stats come in low or high, or is there another way to tell? I don't want to waste gold. I don't want to roll gear that is not Ancient even if the sub stats look great. If there's a way to identify Ancient pieces without spending stupid amounts of gold to roll the pieces, that is the best gear tip anyone could receive in the game. Roll each piece to 4. If it purples then the rest of the stats will purple as well. If the first stat rolls week then it is safe to say that the rest will roll week as well. Idk if that answers your question.
there is also a very important factor regarding crit rate.. you're only punished for failing in time.. you can retry stages indifinitely to get POD.. if you need more damage you can try to get more atk or crit dmg even if it push your crit rate to 80% or 90%, then retry until you get full crit or crit when it matters (which is usually all the time to unlock POD)
This is only kind of related but I’d like a deeper dive into faction trials and the pantheon system. Does it factor in to BP or are they hidden bonuses? When does it become a good idea to focus on faction epics? A few strategies for hard factions, if any of the 4 bonus types are more important, etc. Just an idea!
Factions are gear and hero depth checks. Do you have enough variety starred up with decent gear on? The pantheon bonuses do apply to BP. When your about to start a fight there's a recommended BP bar, click the ! on the left side, it will show you a BP breakdown that includes pantheon bonuses.
@@ICE-je9cz good tip thanks, I’m to the big breakpoint in the game GRs all at 18, promotions done, artifact 16. BP level requirements are spiking so high now. Do I just need to do 1000s of GR runs?? LMAO
@ethanleblanc676 you'll definitely need to do a ton of runs and just give you're account a little time to develop. If your f2p time is the only currency you have to utilize. There's def tactics you can use to beat levels way under BP but they aren't easy.

Ancient gears are named that upon receiving it from gear raid or Void Rift and will not be auto-sold during auto-battles. They’ll have a glowing gold or red aura around them which makes their substats better than the average piece of gear. All that being said, ancient gear is an extremely rare drop. Your best bet is to find a gear with good substats for your needs and spend some gold on it. If you roll low, sell it early, if you roll high, invest
@EricRatzlaff_ thanks. I just got my first piece of Ancient gear. And it is very easy to tell that it's Ancient. I can't believe the amount of farming I've done and had never got 1 before. I was thinking that the Ancient must look like the regular pieces because there's no way I could do the amount of gear runs I've done and not got a piece yet...but I was wrong. 😂apparently you can do tons of runs and never get a piece.
Step 1 get really luck on gear drops, Step 2 get insanly lucky to get good gear rolls !
Don't forget, get super lucky and actually get legendary before you hit the pity drop
