I was stationed in fort Bliss back in 2010-2014. And i still tell people how underrated el paso is. I plan on visiting next year with my kids now to show them around. I'll definitely be watching more of your videos to refresh my memory and to find new spots to visit. Thank you and God bless.

What an interesting video! You’ve taught me things about El Paso that I never knew. It’s so awesome being able to walk in the footsteps of those who lived and crossed here centuries ago. Look forward to seeing more content brother 💯

Only found your channel a week or so ago, been loving what you’re showing with El Paso! Visit almost yearly to see family I have there, given me a few new places to check out. The weather in El Paso isn’t kind to my British blood.
    Keep up the amazing work!

I recently discovered your channel and have been watching and enjoying your content. I did not know all the history of Fort Bliss. Appreciate the heads up on Julie and Ren. You're very talented and I hope you continue with your content. What you are doing is important. Will you be covering the Sal y Limon festival downtown on June 3? I enjoy all things El Paso, so whatever you have in store for us I'm looking forward to. Be well and thank you.

I just subbed Julie and Ren! Although I have been coming to El Paso most of my life ( born in San Antonio) I have recently moved here and this is such a great way to learn about my new home. I love living here. Thank you!

check out the wine history of El Paso , wine was exported from El Paso to Europe and when a disease killed the wine grapes in Europe, El Paso pulled up their grape vine root balls and shipped them to Europe , they are the same vines grown today in Europe so European wine comes from El Paso from a very long time ago , these are some of my ancestors. i think that is really cool ,something to tell snobs when they try to put El Paso down.

Thanks for this video. I enjoyed and learned that Fort Bliss did not start at the current location. I was stationed at Fort Bliss for over a year in 1968. An awful lot has changed over the years. If you want to see some of my pictures of Fort Bliss search RUclips with "el paso fort bliss 1968". I visited the central park in El Paso several times. I don't remember if there were alligators. I remember it as Alligator Park. Do you know when the alligators were taken away?
BTW Did you know that Fort Bliss had a kind of annex? I believe it was called Logan Hights.

Thank you so much for watching. The alligators at the plaza were originally taken to the zoo in 1965 but then In 1972, the city tried to bring them back to the plaza only to then take them back to the zoo 2 years later after people were allegedly abusing them! Thank you for watching the video again and I will definitely check out your video and take a trip down memory lane!!

And then my mom was saying that a lady her dog fell in and the alligator ate it.😢
