I’ve loved stories about how couples meet: an older couple I heard about: fellow went skinny dipping down at a local creek, some girls came by and stole his clothes, they did leave him a cap. So he’s trying to sneak back to his dwelling from tree to tree to building; he comes around one corner and there stood a girl! He tells her “A lady wouldn’t look!” To which she replied “A gentleman would tip his hat!” Then she took off the apron she was wearing for him to cover up and scouted out the terrain for him to get home without exposure. Not long after, they married for many years! Always loved that story!

My daughter doesn't look like me, but because her mannerisms are like mine, people know we are mother and daughter. Things like that, I think.

Everyone calling this a love story and here i am thinking she's a nut who was obsessed over what her ex might think and "winning" the break up. My mom met my dad when she was 18 after a woman he was being set up wit on a blind date backed out at the last minute. My mom was asked to go in her place and was told he looked like John Denver lol! They hit it off and was married for 40 years before my dad died in 2016. Funny how fate works!
