My great grandfather migrated from the Coimbatore ( from the South of South india, Madras State) to Hyderabad state ( North of South India) . He was employed with British In payroll office, Secunderabad. My grandfather was born and brought up in Hyderabad and stayed in Bolarum which comes under secunderabad cantonment and he always used to say stories about Hyderabad police action. My grandfather was part of bolarum Congress and once had escorted a Muslim family from Bolarum staying to secunderabad station from where they took train to Pakistan. Also my grandfather best friend who happened to be Muslim was posted in lahore with Royal British airforce opted for Pakistan never to return back. The Muslim appeasement didn't change in India even after 70 years. The descendants of razakars are now sitting in lok sabha and Telangana assembly.
Similar story my Grandfather from Now Bangladesh came to kolkata to aid Indian soldiers who were comming back from WW2 in 1945. He never went back. Made a life in India. Thank God for that. 🙏

When British left ,they broke great India into Pakistan, India and many small kingdoms. They thought that Indians will not be able to keep peace in India and will be called back. But Sardar Patel merged various kingdoms without much resistance and showed his ability. It is only due to greed of power of Nehru and Jinnah,a great strong India could be weakened. Had India remained undivided, like USA and USSR, it would have emerged as one of the strongest country in the world.

Sardar Patel always had full confidence in the Indian Army unlike Nehru who in the name of peace stopped Indian Army in Kashmir and went to UN. Hyderabad was never called Bhagyanagaram in the history prior to 100 years back. Bhagyanagaram is Andhrafication of the name Bhagmati. Bhagmati was Emperor Quli's court dancer with whom he supposed to have fell in love with. When Madras Presidency's Telugu govt representatives were administering for the British Resident in Secunderabad, they started calling it Bhagyanagaram, the city of their fortune. Andhra people, especially Madapati Hanumantha Rao popularised it by calling so. Since at that time most of Andhra people lived in Secunderabad they called it as Soubhagyanagaram. Andhra people from Madras called Hyderabad as Bhagyanagaram, Secunderabad as Soubhagyanagaram. After Telugu people said goodbye to Madras Presidency, they looked towards Hyderabad as a shared capital and started again referring it as Bhagyanagaram, the city of their fortune. The locals never called it Bhagnagar or Bhagyanagaram. No one knows its real name prior to Bhagmati. It must have been called Golcondapur. Nagaram or Puram are Andhrafication, in East Telangana it is Nagar and Pur. Andhra people brought their culture from Madras and Vijayawada to Hyderabad. Even the Temples that are being built or rennovated now, for ex: Yadagirigutta are not in local architecture, they belong to Andhra and Tamil Nadu architecture, Vemulawada temple was in Western Chalukya Architecture which is architecture of the locals in North Telangana mostly prior to 1956, but it is converted to Vengi-Pallava-Chola architecture after 1956. Hyderabad and surroundings were all not Telugu speaking prior to Kakateeyas. Stop destroying the peaceful fabric of Hyderabad. Please take this matter to Mr.Owaisi, we want it to remain Hyderabad. Dont make it Bhagodanagar or Andhra people's Bhagyanagaram as Mr.KCR already kicked the Andhra people out.

British India was partitioned as per British India Partition Act, 1946 which called for formation of India & Pakistan by June,1948 with 562 princely states given choice of joining India or Pakistan or remaining independent. Lord Mountbatten, blood relative of British Crown was sent in end-February, 1947 as Viceroy to assess the ground situation in India & implement the Partition Act. After assessing the volatile ground situation, he devised Partition Plan - 3rd June Plan or Mountbatten Plan which was approved by the British Parliament & duly notified by the British Crown as British-India Partition 1947. The Act advanced the date of Independence to 15 August, 1947 & ruled out independence option to Princely States which were directed to join India or Pakistan keeping geographic contiguity as criterion. Only Kutchch, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Khairpur, Bahawalpur and J&K were twin option states as they were touching Radcliffe Line (in the west) and could join India or Pakistan. Hyderabad was an island territory within India & therefore was ineligible to either join Pakistan or remain independent. However, Princes or representative of large princely states like Bhopal, Travancore,J &K, Hyderabad, Bahawalpur were camping in London to modify Mountbatten plan to give large princely states option of independence. Razakars meanwhile started massacring Hindus throwing refugees in South India & raped 2 British nuns creating outrage in UK after which Patel sent Indian Army to quickly subdue Hyderabad.

The Nizam of Hyderbad had formed a military force composed exclusively of Muslims, called the 'Razakars' , much like modern Taliban & ISIS. Their sole purpose was to kill and torment hindus and make Hyderbad a Hindu-free country. That's the only way hyderabad could have survived as an independent kingdom. Everything Nizam did after capture of Hyderabad was to get into the good lanes of the Indian goverment.

A true Indian is always indebted to Sardar Patel ji. Nehru was always against Armed invasion of Hyderabad but Patel disobeyed him and yeah we won! Kashmir issue could've also be solved if Nehru wouldn't have stopped the winning Indian Army from occupying whole Kashmir against Pakistan but went to the UN and declared ceasefire which's still the root cause of the Kashmir dispute. Patel advised Nehru not to stop our winning Army from occupying whole Kashmir but absolute power blocked his egoistic mind! Later, again the same mistake was repeated by Nehru through his excessive trust in China with the influence of Indian Communists which resulted in 1962 war defeat. Mistrusting our Armed Forces again and again and appointing a pro Communist then defense minister KK Menon is regretting but still Nehru honoured himself with Bharat Ratna, his daughter and grandson too later but the real Bharat Ratnas like SC Bose, Sardar Patel and Lal Bahadur Shastriji were minimalised in few words in our History books.(Not only Bharat Ratna but many roads, university, schools, hospital, awards other government department are captured by this dynasty after their family members' names as if India is just their property) India should never forget and always regret this and never even think to agaon give power to this cruel Nehru-Gandhi dynasty by voting Congress, otherwise, keep regretting!

One kashmir is entirely different form Hyderabad interms of its geographical location and its proximity to enemy sates of India and also the demographic makeup of the region. kashmir had a Hindu ruling monority and muslims majority masses which is exactly opposite for Hyderabad. The majority wanted it to be integrated within the Indian dominion and hence the Indian government had the support from the begining. Kashmir was being fought for a year now and Indian army were not making any enough strides in capturing back the lost territories by nomadic hill tribes and pashtuns with backing from pakistani army - Indian army didn't had enough resources and nor the equipment to battle it out at high altitude , if you look at the map, the point of control lies along the hilly region where it is literally flat the other side (west) in pakistan where as on Indian side there are narrow ghats where transporting equipment and rations were increasily difficult with winter approaching. I will leave the rest for your self to comtemplate what would have been the case. Nehru did what a sane leader would have it done at that time with inputs from Indian army chief that is to take this matter to the UN to effect a cease fire

Shastri later thanked the Nizam at a public meeting, stating that the government planned to send these gold coins to foreign countries, expecting to obtain ₹ 10 million in return.[45] It is not clear who received the return on this investment. In 2018, the Nizam's grandson Mir Najaf Ali Khan stated that according to his knowledge, none of the 52 trusts created by the Nizam had received any money from this investment. Total 562 princely state 30 were in Pakistan 532 were in India 529 integrated in India before 15 aug 1947.remaining 3 kashmir. Junagarh and hyderabad were integrated later.

Hyderabad was never called Bhagyanagaram in the history prior to 100 years back. Bhagyanagaram is Andhrafication of the name Bhagmati. Bhagmati was Emperor Quli's court dancer with whom he supposed to have fell in love with. When Madras Presidency's Telugu govt representatives were administering for the British Resident in Secunderabad, they started calling it Bhagyanagaram, the city of their fortune. Andhra people, especially Madapati Hanumantha Rao popularised it by calling so. Since at that time most of Andhra people lived in Secunderabad they called it as Soubhagyanagaram. Andhra people from Madras called Hyderabad as Bhagyanagaram, Secunderabad as Soubhagyanagaram. After Telugu people said goodbye to Madras Presidency, they looked towards Hyderabad as a shared capital and started again referring it as Bhagyanagaram, the city of their fortune. The locals never called it Bhagnagar or Bhagyanagaram. No one knows its real name prior to Bhagmati. It must have been called Golcondapur. Nagaram or Puram are Andhrafication, in East Telangana it is Nagar and Pur. Andhra people brought their culture from Madras and Vijayawada to Hyderabad. Even the Temples that are being built or rennovated now, for ex: Yadagirigutta are not in local architecture, they belong to Andhra and Tamil Nadu architecture, Vemulawada temple was in Western Chalukya Architecture which is architecture of the locals in North Telangana mostly prior to 1956, but it is converted to Vengi-Pallava-Chola architecture after 1956. Hyderabad and surroundings were all not Telugu speaking prior to Kakateeyas. Stop destroying the peaceful fabric of Hyderabad. Please take this matter to Mr.Owaisi, we want it to remain Hyderabad. Dont make it Bhagodanagar or Andhra people's Bhagyanagaram as Mr.KCR already kicked the Andhra people out.

British India was partitioned as per British India Partition Act, 1946 which called for formation of India & Pakistan by June,1948 with 562 princely states given choice of joining India or Pakistan or remaining independent. Lord Mountbatten, blood relative of British Crown was sent in end-February, 1947 as Viceroy to assess the ground situation in India & implement the Partition Act. After assessing the volatile ground situation, he devised Partition Plan - 3rd June Plan or Mountbatten Plan which was approved by the British Parliament & duly notified by the British Crown as British-India Partition 1947. The Act advanced the date of Independence to 15 August, 1947 & ruled out independence option to Princely States which were directed to join India or Pakistan keeping geographic contiguity as criterion. Only Kutchch, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Khairpur, Bahawalpur and J&K were twin option states as they were touching Radcliffe Line (in the west) and could join India or Pakistan. Hyderabad was an island territory within India & therefore was ineligible to either join Pakistan or remain independent. However, Princes or representative of large princely states like Bhopal, Travancore,J &K, Hyderabad, Bahawalpur were camping in London to modify Mountbatten plan to give large princely states option of independence. Razakars meanwhile started massacring Hindus throwing refugees in South India & raped 2 British nuns creating outrage in UK after which Patel sent Indian Army to quickly subdue Hyderabad.

The Nizam of Hyderbad had formed a military force composed exclusively of Muslims, called the 'Razakars' , much like modern Taliban & ISIS.

A true Indian is always indebted to Sardar Patel ji. Nehru was always against Armed invasion of Hyderabad but Patel disobeyed him and yeah we won! Kashmir issue could've also be solved if Nehru wouldn't have stopped the winning Indian Army from occupying whole Kashmir against Pakistan but went to the UN and declared ceasefire which's still the root cause of the Kashmir dispute. Patel advised Nehru not to stop our winning Army from occupying whole Kashmir but absolute power blocked his egoistic mind! Mistrusting our Armed Forces again and again and appointing a pro Communist then defense minister KK Menon is regretting but still Nehru honoured himself with Bharat Ratna, his daughter and grandson too later but the real Bharat Ratnas like SC Bose, Sardar Patel and Lal Bahadur Shastriji were minimalised in few words in our History books.(Not only Bharat Ratna but many roads, university, schools, hospital, awards other government department are captured by this dynasty after their family members' names as if India is just their property) India should never forget and always regret this and never even think to agaon give power to this cruel Nehru-Gandhi dynasty by voting Congress, otherwise, keep regretting!

One kashmir is entirely different form Hyderabad interms of its geographical location and its proximity to enemy sates of India and also the demographic makeup of the region. kashmir had a Hindu ruling monority and muslims majority masses which is exactly opposite for Hyderabad. The majority wanted it to be integrated within the Indian dominion and hence the Indian government had the support from the begining. Kashmir was being fought for a year now and Indian army were not making any enough strides in capturing back the lost territories by nomadic hill tribes and pashtuns with backing from pakistani army - Indian army didn't had enough resources and nor the equipment to battle it out at high altitude , if you look at the map, the point of control lies along the hilly region where it is literally flat the other side (west) in pakistan where as on Indian side there are narrow ghats where transporting equipment and rations were increasily difficult with winter approaching. I will leave the rest for your self to comtemplate what would have been the case. Nehru did what a sane leader would have it done at that time with inputs from Indian army chief that is to take this matter to the UN to effect a cease fire

Legend of gold donation to the National Defence Fund
According to an urban legend, Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan donated 5,000 kg of gold to the National Defence Fund of India in the aftermath of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. The legend claims that Nizam gave the gold to Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri in 1965, when the latter visited Hyderabad during an India-wide tour to raise funds for the post-war economy. According to the story, Nizam asked only the boxes containing the gold to be returned.[45]
In reality, the Nizam did not donate 5,000 kg of gold, he invested 425 kg of gold in the National Defence Gold Scheme. The Scheme was floated by the government in October 1965 to deal with an economic crisis, and the investors were offered a 6.5% interest rate. The scheme included an amnesty clause: the gold acquired using income not disclosed to the income tax authorities was exempted from tax, if invested in the scheme. The Nizam indeed met Shastri in Hyderabad, and agreed to invest 425 kg of old gold mohurs (coins), which were valued at ₹ 5 million at the time. Shastri later thanked the Nizam at a public meeting, stating that the government planned to send these gold coins to foreign countries, expecting to obtain ₹ 10 million in return.[45]
It is not clear who received the return on this investment. In 2018, the Nizam's grandson Mir Najaf Ali Khan stated that according to his knowledge, none of the 52 trusts created by the Nizam had received any money from this investment. English-language newspaper The Hindu submitted a Right to Information query to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in 2018 asking for information on the investment and the final beneficiary. However, the RBI refused to provide this information, citing "unwarranted invasion of the privacy" clause of the RTI law.[45]

May be you are incorrectly saying sq km instead of sq mi. 82000 sq mi will be around 212,300 sq km which is close to the actual area of Hyderabad state.
