I did this same ride two years ago. It’s cool to see someone else’s footage on the same route. Those tunnels are awesome but damn the homeless. That shit sucks. Keep up the cool rides !
Great video!! You went right by my ex in laws not far from Queen Creek!! 🤣🤣 Sure don't miss the heat!!! 20° cooler up in rim country!!!🦌 Loved it up there!!!
Yea Payson > Phoenix in my eyes as well. Phoenix is way to hot in the summer. Right now its perfect but it is about to end. I love the trees and most of my tours aim me into them. Here a tour I'm looking to do in about a week if the weather is right ( www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/4826330131 ). It is way out of my skill sets. It is 80% dirt and single track going up some major mountains, and that why I picked it. Going non-electric on the Trek.
Come to Coronado nat memorial sierra Vista AZ ride the Montezuma trail to patagonian AZ much better .those tunnel s not safe . Camp in Patagonia only .
Nope non-electric for the next one. Going to be on dirt going into the mountains. Basically some form of self torture. Could be a ego thing because I see others do it and think I can do that. UK ebiking sounds fun. Just have to get a sticker that says your in the legal 250 watt limit there. Basicly no UK or US cop is going to have any idea other then what the sticker says.
@@Eric_Tennant your next trip sounds ace, looking forward to watching it! Cheers for the tip - my bike is a fat tyre ebike, i've got safeguards in place so as far as anyone else knows it sticks to the 15mph/25kmh (UK fun sponge) limit...Shhhhh
In Arizona cops never seem to care even as they are behind me as I'm flying down the highway. Here the map of my next tour will be 180 - 200 miles / 321.869 Km. Really it the Altitude and the fact its 80% dirt that will be the hard part. www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/4826330131
Love the green break. Big improvement over previous vids. It’s always a reason to celebrate when you get shade and a green place to sit.
So true! Thanks 🚲

Almost hit a few in the tunnels coming back from Tucson this year on a my Bafang E-bike. ruclips.net/video/Tfit--LFEg0/видео.html
Adventurous. Good job.
Thanks.

Thanks for the tour 👍 looks like I will be using I10 as much as possible going through there .
That little side highway makes i10 really safe on the part between Tucson and Phx. DQ Ice cream is a major plus after the sun fried you a bit.

Agree where I ride on my tours I would not recommend to children or anyone half sane still. When that ride happening?
Wait, there are cities in Arizona? You made it seem like it was all desert highways.
Not much here.
Great video, looking forward to the next adventure - will it be an electric one? (im thinking of doing a long distance ebike trip in the UK)

Do you ever have any issues with the law about being over 750 watts? Im just asking because Im building one too.
Nope. I have never been asked. I do have a 250w sticker on it.
Thanks! I was worried about mine, but it doesn't have the watts labeled. I think I'll do what you did.

Indeed there are odds of that. Odds of death are also on the table.
