Just measure the plug distance and make hole in the tray. It is easier for the future28/10/2023 for the people who doesnt want to demount the bumper. I make a whole nearby the left rusty bolt at about 1 oclock. The whole is about 6cm diametre.
Yes that is a great idea. Seems odd Nissan never put in a small opening or cover for this. Probably so they can charge for servicing.

Do you have to change the drain plug gasket? How many gallons of coolant do you need?
Hi. You do not need to replace the o-ring on the drain plug when changing the coolant. The capacity is just over 11 litres.
How much did you collect please ? I do the same thing but I only have 9l which has leaked 🤦♂️ Thank's
I did not measure. I think the DRY capacity is 11L. There will be some that does not drain, trapped in various parts.
