Speaking of more grown up vanillas I have been wearing Vaniglia Del Madagascar by Farmacia SS. Annunziata dal 1561 for years. I love it. I LOVE vanilla, but I'm also a guy, so as much as I love cupcakes I don't want to smell like one. The same house has a newer Tahiti Vanilla that I'd like to try. The staying power is very good as well. This house has good quality fragrances that are often overlooked. I stumbled on them myself by chance. As far as Montale I love their Red Oud (speaking of staying power). It smells like delicious praline candies but in a grown up way if that makes any sense.
I love vanilla. I just bought them both. Now I get to suffer watching the mail for the next 4-5 days. But the reward will be G-L-O-R-I-O-U-S !!! I can't wait!

It smells EXACTLY like vanilla cake when you first take it out of the oven and the edges are a little brown from the butter-- IT'S DELICIOUS!!! I've never smelled the other one, but I can't imagine it can top it! I'm not even a fan of vanilla fragrances, they're usually just too light , but this stuff is ADDICTIVE!😍💜💜💜

I am thinking about it coz all I can do is blind buy… I have been researching for many reviews of Vanilla Cake. Many reviewers claim it has synthetic smell and low longevity while many love them… I am myself in love with vanilla and sweet scent. I love Chocolate Greedy and Intense Cafe as blind buy BUT Honey Aoud isn’t really my cup of tea. Now I am thinking about Vanilla Cake… oh my.. sadly they don’t have tester here and only 100ml is available…
I agree on slightly synthetic note but I like the scent it's quite different from other vanilla I have but I'd be more confident recommending Vanille Absolu
All mancera's vanillas are good but I find it's better to test them all. There are so many different variations that it can be a little bit complicated to choose

Not impressed with Vanille Absolu. To my nose I get vanilla body spray were the plastic from the bottle has leaked and mixed into the fragrance and it just doesn't smell all that great to me. It's not a bad smell per say. I have burned through 20% of my bottle hoping it would grow on me and it just doesn't. I don't smell any of the spices that claim to be in it. I was honestly hoping for a vanilla chai like scent with those notes. Anyway, nothing against a plastic note. I absolutely adore Montale Mukhallats strawberry doll head plastic note. But Vanille Absolu was unfortunately a bust for me. But I know I'm probably mostly alone in that opinion as people seem to really love it. Probably something is just broken with my nose. I'm hoping I have better luck with Vanilla Cake 🤞

Yeah, my vanille absolu has that fake, plastic, hair dresser smell, especially in the opening. I’ve read such good things about montale. However, I think this will be the last and only one I ever buy from this house, considering others are also smelling that plastic note.

You can do ot on skin and on clothes but be careful cause it leave stains. If you layer it with chocolate greedy that will be an ultra sweet combo and you ll smell delicious like a candy! Don't spray on each other though better do sprays on different parts of your body

Hi! So my most favorite vanilla is by Montale and it's Vanilla Absolu. Check out their Amber Musk, it's sensual and powdery. Blue Amber is very heavy oriental sweet amber for cold weather.

The vanilla cake smell exactly like Flan 🍮 omg it’s unbelievably sweet and delicious. I also have the sweet vanilla but it’s not nearly as sweet .

No, not at all:) Vanille absolu is maybe more comparable to vanille fatale than vanilla cake but they are waaaaay to sweet forvanille fatale
