I really enjoyed Seonghwa recording his parts and putting so much thought into everything and trying out ideas that made the parts sound even better. He always puts so much thought into everything and it's great to see. I also was happy seeing how encouraging the producer was to all of them. They all looked really comfortable recording.
One thing I noticed in this recording behind and the last one is that he doesn't hesitate to say "I wanted this part but the other members did it better." Since it's a competition at the end of the day, you might think they'd be hesitant to acknowledge that they "lost" the part they were aiming for, but Hwa shares it without any shame and hypes up the member who got the part. Love this kind of humility -- no ego getting in the way at all. (And in exchange the other members praise him in return 🥰)

This is my first time watching an Ateez behind/making of a song and I am actually so shocked at how the raw vocals sound EXACTLY like the track. It's funny because I still hear quite a bit of autotune but it's nothing too different from their own voices if that makes sense. the whole team are just geniuses!! also I love that KQ add the choreo at the end. I've been a casual stan since debut but now I regret not looking into their art/content earlier!!

Ok I don’t know them that well yet but other than Jongho who literally SLAYED his part to perfection with those insane high notes, I feel like Yunho had some of the clearest and most perfect vocals from first try and as he’s trying it live it already sounded like the final recorded version! Yet he was so picky and wanted to perfect it even more. Overall he has a very unique and beautifully warm and romantic yet deep badass voice he should have more parts in next songs ! As a Atiny, I love seeing them in their element and watching them do their thing, putting in the work. As a former artist and music lover, I love seeing the process to the project - whether it's the writing, the production, the choreography, the way they record, their different styles and delivery on the song, the interaction between them and the engineers.directors, etc. It's truly entertaining ! edit : for example, the way Hongjoong went in and knew how he wanted his verse to sound and come out. Even when the director complimented him, they still asked him what he would've liked to change. I know this is probably basic recording etiquette lol but I still really like it.

Ateez's bare vocals are really good, and I think it's very valuable that Maddox ( + edenary) guides them on what to do and how to do it, and then the results are presented to the members' preference.
