Kaito acts too much like a basic anime protagonist and it'd probably be kind of boring playing as him. Kokichi might have a chance but I think it'd throw off his entire character too much, however... it'd be interesting to see the antagonist become the protagonist and it'd be interesting to play as that strange personality he has. Himiko has a small chance. Kiibo has an ahoge and should put it to good use but it's also just a maybe for him. However, I'm assuming the game would end with the mastermind revealed, so there won't be another twist, probably. But THAT's just a THEORY! A DanganTheory!

It would actually be really interesting to see Shuichi as the mastermind because that means we would be playing the mastermind without even knowing. It would also add up to the games purpose on to show us how sad and depressing thigs are. If Shuichi was the mastermind everyone would feel like that time where your friends left you and you could feel your heart shake and break apart. He might feel a little sadness seeing that he chose to make friends with EVERYONE and most of them had died infront of his eyes. Kokichi and Kaito (Maybe Kaede if she was alive) would be the most hurt by this because they were the closest to Shuichi and it hurts when your closest friend betrays you. So it would be a big plot twist right?

I think that kokichi will probably the one most hurt. Kaeda and kaito are used to trusting people and believe in everyone, however kokichi is as distrustful as you can get. It even surprised him that he was willing to trust shuichi. Imagine the only person you trust and love turns out to be the mastermind. But im pretty sure that all of them will be hurt, considering shuichi was someone really important to them

That's why I really believe the real game actually worked out the audience were picking their favorites to live or die and every time you get a flashback tape they're really secretly their results and the motives fit perfectly for the game pick the right one to be the Killer and was going to be murdered
