Somewhat shaky writing aside, the gameplay in this looks quite intriguing. Great to see a designer who doesn't just go "I want magic in my game... so I'll put a default fireball spell, a default magic missile spell, or maybe a magic missile _staff..._ and then a shield spell I guess, but we don't want to go too crazy so that tiny selection will be literally all the 'magic' in the game." And who instead goes "What if it were actually a fantastical, reality-altering power that interacts with the environment?"
I doubt it was the first, but Dungeon Master was probably the first really big game to not pause while accessing the inventory. The Souls series may have popularized it in the modern era, but you could make a case for Dead Space, which came out a few months earlier. It makes sense for a game like Zofia that emphasizes multiplayer (it even has split-screen!), though I question how many players ever bother with it.
I am here to not say that Oboe fell off. Instead, he went flying into the glitch-realm.

Plus, the way the game plays reminds me of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
I literally watched first 8 minutes thinking I am watching Call Me Kevin. Good video friend.
I’m liking the vibes of this game
