Song hits even harder starting with the dreamer karaoke. That was the first song i heard of his back when i was 16 getting drunk for the first time with my buddies. His music is etched into that time, like im back biking through fall nights. Im glad we continue to get beautiful music. This song makes me recollect on how much time has passed since then.
This encapsulates so much. A feeling of loneliness, a feeling of being alien to the world, paired with a sudden clearness. It's a perfect representation of what I felt a long long time, walking home after all-nighters, the shadow of my depression weighting, alienating me.
Thank you for this wonderfull music. Thank you that you make us feel seen in these songs.

Most definitely. I have a feeling the new record will be interesting, I think we'll get some louder songs as well. Some of the chords and his vocals sound similar to Story of an Artist. The Tallest Man on Earth is a fantastic artist who doesn't put out a record that sounds like a carbon copy of any of his previous ones, and he's just so, so, so talented. He has so many instruments that he's mastered and a voice like bitter honey. Always on key, just the right pitch, and the best vocal timbre in music today. I love the discordant notes he adds to the piano chords/melody.

@@penaies5273 @Penai Es I was into his first EP back in the old days when the internet was still coming to fruition. I've seen him several times at small theatres and venues; But at a coffee shop, man that must have been amazing. He has a gift. I'm glad I was able to see him live early on when he first started becoming notable and now into today where he has mastered his musical craft. Music runs through his veins and straight to his heart. He was born for this. Glad to see him succeed as well. Very Humble, kind and filled with love and appreciation. Starting out as a young grade school teacher, and leaving that life for music. A great human being all around. Tender hearted songs like this help to keep me going on living.

I hear my loving father in my head, “one day you’ll get to where you need to be on time, but never rush”. “I feel it all, I just feel it wrong” is the mantra. My eyes well with tears for no particular reason. As hard as it is, it feels good to feel again. Thanks, Kristian. I await the rest of your project with great anticipation.

beautiful video also. the beginning gave me great feelings of nostalgia and made me look back on my life when i heard the dreamer for the first time and tried to figure out how to play it on my fathers guitar. it was one of the first songs i learned and lighted a spark inside me that continues to inspire me to learn and write songs. big love
