He reminds me of my Dad who was born in 1918 and was an aircraft mechanic and crew chief during WWII and Korean War. He came from a large family, the eldest of nine children. He loved us kids so much. He would also cook and help out with the cleaning. I was born after he’d retired from the Air Force when he was 46. I miss him every single day.

Growing up in The Netherlands I was obsessed with your beautiful country, because one of my favorite childhood authors wrote a fantasy trilogy about Greenland that I read countless of times. In the books Greenland is the basically the most thriving nation after World War three has happened, because of their connection to Mother Earth. I’m currently listening to these books again for the nostalgia, so my interest in Greenland sparked up and that’s how I found your channel! You and your husband make a wonderful pair and his name seems to suit him! Keep it up, what you’re doing is meaningful💚.

I will say that now that I’m re-listening it as an adult, I don’t always like how she describes the Inuit girl in the book, but that might just be me. I don’t know if you guys speak Dutch, because I don’t know if there’s an English translation of the books.

Q's channel just brings more life and personal perspectives into what I previously learned from school and books, years before. Seeing her spirit and her journeys are inspirational more than a textbook ever could be. Anyway... Nordic citizens are free to travel to and live in/work in Greenland. Otherwise, immigration is just as difficult as it is for most countries; Have to submit an application and get a approved, need to have work lined up already, money always plays a part in immigrating, etc, etc.

I am half Finnish half Italian. I love your content and I think that people think here in Italy we are happy and lazy and just think about food but actually life is very hard ( to be a western country of course . Nothing competed to the poor Palestinians foe example ). We have to work so hard and so many hours a day to keep up the lifestyle and our relationship with nature is very bad. Of course that depend also where we live but for us in Rome life is super hard, hectic and far from nature. In Helsinki where I have got a flat , things are different. I just don’t have the psychological strength to start fro scratch as here I have built a life for my family. My husband is Italian and he would feel like a fish out of water but I do think that population who have kept their bond with nature are happier . Like definitely you and Scandinavians as well !!!
My husband is also like this, is amazing with the kids and a better cook than me..he helps me grow in my career and was absolutely fine to support me when I moved abroad for my masters leaving him with our 9 year old and 1 yr old!

Since I was a teenager I read a lot of Greenland hunters in the winter with their sledge dogs , you remind me a lot of old souvenirs, my next holiday will be Greenland in polar winter, thanks a lot for backing my memories 😊 NB : my wife she is Thai, land of smile, and i can feel the same smile and good heart people that i meet there , no wonder where come from the Inuit.

Since I was a teenager I read a lot of Greenland hunters in the winter with their sledge dogs , you remind me a lot of old souvenirs, my next holiday will be Greenland in polar winter, thanks a lot for backing my memories 😊

I'm not sure honestly but especially in more natural places, mosquitos can be harsh. In northern sweden they are very little but sooo many! Idk if that's the case here tho
