  • Making the most of our long Bank Holiday weekend in The Lake District we took Marley out for a second time for a run around Derwentwater to include Catbells and Walla Crag. He’s definitely built for this!

Another delightful video thank you. I'm amazed that Marley is running so well with you after only a week - ok, there's more training to do to make sue he doesn't pull you off your feet downhill (it looks scary!!) , but even as things are he is very good.

He’s brilliant. Very clever too. Agreed with the downhill pulling though, he’s just too quick. We’re going to start with some more basic commands which in turn will bring even more enjoyment for all of us. Thank you ☺️

Thank you. Would love to travel back to Scotland at some point. Only been to Ben Nevis once and did it via the CMD Arête (another video). Lovely route 👍

Great video again. I have a 3 year old Border Collie called Woody who is my running partner. Hes great off lead but I do have to put him on around big livestock. I was recommended None Stop Dog Wear Harness and never looked back you will find it much easier to control him down hill with one........BTW you will never tire a collie out fully, but they are the best dogs. Enjoy and thanks for the videos

Thanks Simon. We’ve definitely come to the conclusion that we tire before he does. He seems to lag then after a rest and water he’s off again. Same after the run - he’s still very lively! Brilliant breed of dog and one we wouldn’t be without now 👍

That was great! Running downhill with Marley and filming at the same time! Quite a talent. Marley is a fast one. He is doing great with you guys and he is so fortunate to have you both as his family. The weather was nicer today I think, not so hot.
I agree with Cheryl it's a bit scary running downhill with a dog pulling you. Slow down and tug on the leash and give a command to "slow" or whatever command you want to use. He will learn not to pull you going downhill. Good luck with the training. You're doing great.

He’s too fast on the downs. Could be dangerous to be fair but the kid in me just found it funny 🤣
We’ll start on more basic commands as it’ll help us all enjoy our outings even more. He’s such a brilliant dog and I think will thrive doing what we do. Love him to bits!! Thanks 😊

Did some of that route last month...at about a tenth of Marley's speed 😂 Thanks for sharing another great video guys.

It’s a cracking route. Dogs are just made for routes like that though. Difficult keeping up at times!!

Absolutely!! That was just over a 5:30 minute mile pace going down a steepish grassy descent with tussocks and hidden holes. Frightening!! 😂
