I think the Western audience will be more receptive to this genre of fantasy than previous decades, especially because of the MMO drought. The lynchpinch to the success of WoJD abroad will be whether it can make a good first impression with proper marketing, robust localisation, and no p2w.
Finally some news. Hopefully it comes to west with good English dub like genshin impact or wuthering waves. They need add more classes and hopefully secondary sub classes and variety of flashy useful skills and ultimate attack. Throne n liberty looks decent but skills and attack looks so plain and dull. Hopefully the dungeon and raid mechanics is similar to swords of legends online.

Sub classes we do already have - Gui wang can be Tank or DD - Lin Xi can be played as DD or Healer ( atleast there are tons of DD rotas xd ) T&L looked good but playing it feels like playing in a bathtub of half melted butter. Just awful Dungeon and Raid mechs are indeed comparable with the ones of SOLO , a bit more complicated as it looks.

So they either play it in English dub or japanese dub eng subs. One of reasons swords of legends online closed down was bad dubbing no marketing and some players didn't like the whole chinese aestetics or lore. Reason. Why games like genshin wuwa etc made their character design more japanese anime style since it's more popular around the world.
Why the fuck do people want half assed English dubs on games that are entirely set in a specific culture. THE ONLY WAY to play this will be in Chinese.

Age of wushu/ Wuxia type game. Unfortunately, their game are always hefty p2w game. I know people who spent 100,000$ to just learn few ultimate skills. This game has very similar vibe like wushu. Graphics are pretty much the game as old cry-engine, its unreal engine era china.
