Definitely the 5-7 seconds reels have a great potential to going viral, since a lot of the trending audio is around that length. We've had a a couple hit the millions of views with 7 second reels, but also had a minute long reel get 3 million views and it was all our own audio, one take, no editing, just how we retained attention throughout
I have the "correct" audience for my account, so posting reels on grid actually boosts reels views as it lands on the correct audience right away. And if it doesn't land, then I do delete them from my grid and sometimes they do take off better.
are we allowed to use capcut videos for Instagram (posts and ads - read somewhere now allowed). also can you discuss please if I design reel in canva (no access to capcut or insatgram popular songs in my case hip hop), means quality is down? i am doing reels for a client so cant design inside Instagram need to design and schedule in outside apps. thanks

I run other accounts and the button is still there for those. So it’s about my account. Any tips on how to get it back? Thanks!!!!
This is kind of obvious but it depends on how good your reels are and if the length makes sense - I have some long reels that do really well because there’s value provided in the reels (tutorials, details people want to focus on, etc.)

my most viral reels are shorter than 7 seconds. But the majority of the followers it gets are people from india, iran, iraq.. I believe that mroe grown people watch a bit longer videos because many aren't as addicted to instagram like young people from these countries. I'll try to doing that now, post around 8 -11sec reels.

I agree with you, I started shortening my videos to 5-6 seconds and I feel they are worse

Removing a reel from the grid is a completely different thing than just sharing it to new people. So no, you actually can’t change it afterwards
