"tnQs dude n all da music rock lovers fr those Hu love Rock reign love you all,,,Let's play enjoy wed music br not wed drugs and lastly we guys are also from band of "Scremo hollowen"we salute to those who are gonna rock long live rock and roll i alys Curious to see cover song of bullet for my valentine salute who love to play metal,,
@iSAUSAGE Of course i've tried Drop C. It really doesn't matter, it's not like you have to relearn the song for each tuning. I played it in D-standard because I wanted to play it in D standard and I like the sound you get from the first fret powerchord which you do not get when the E string is tuned down an extra step.
@DeepTeel My only suggestion is to watch a live video of it and see which parts padge and matt play, and choose which one you want to play. Maybe try playing it the way I did because I am pretty much playing the lead through most of it. Although I think you should be asking which guitar is Guitar 1 and Guitar 2 because each guitarist usually switches between lead and rhythm but it all depends on the band.
@xjetstream1 It will affect your guitar over time if you do not have the correct string guage but it isn't critical. I use 11-54, 12-56 are too big for my liking
@Polyst3r - A yellow pick. haha That's seriously all I know. I remember that I was out of all the ones I usually use (Dunlop 1mm) and the yellow one was the closest I had to it, which I think was about 0.80mm
Some people play it in drop C but bullet for my valentine play it in D standard, along with a few of their other songs on their 2008 album. It all depends on what you prefer because it can be done either way.
Yes, I am playing in Drop C. Some guitars have 22 frets and others have 24, but it doesn't necesserily meat it's a "metal guitar". Mine has 22 frets, but I am getting one soon that has 24. My guitar is an ESP LTD h-50
I plan to do the light that blinds next, and then bleeding mascara after that... but it might end up being my next cover. depends which song i want to play on the day lol
yeah the quality is much better thankfully. I still have the same camera but i got a new computer which means i can play the videos without having to downsize them. My old computer was sooooo slow i could hardly play any videos let alone edit them
well i have the cakewalk UA-1G by roland pretty fair price 160 compared to 250+ for some of them, has a guitar jack input that can be switched to mic, it has standard tv or speaker input and output ports on the back and a input level, works well no latency even with high input buffer e.g. for better quality play back, works for both electric and bass because there still classed as guitar, even has a standard 3.5 mm jack, considering bass you might want to look at amplitube.
@shotguntothefaceXD the reason it sound wrong in drop D is because hes in D standard which is standard tuning a whole step down. So in other words tune all your other strings down too not just the low E
Alternate picking makes it sound less fluent. I have a very fast strum so this isn't a problem for me. Ill be getting a better guitar in a few weeks so maybe you'll prefer the look of that one.
Hahah yeah it was the first thing that popped into my head when i saw the video. It seems like a really hard song to transcribe and I doubt there will be any tabs for a long time. but If I can work it out then I will probably do it :) Thanks for the suggestion
Well I guess you'll have to be the judge of that because you'll be able to hear it in all of my videos. I think its great for its price of around $100. (you could probably get it even cheaper) It works great as a little pedal to carry around and you can even put in headphones and use it without an amp. Once connected into the computer through the line in, it sounds even better. There are many other pods to choose from if you want something a little better. Go to Google and search "Pod Family."
haha happy birthday Im exciteted for the new album too. I hear it comes out in Febuary. did you hear the song that they played live that's gonna be on their new album? If you havn't just search somgthing like "new bullet song - who do you think you are". It's sooo good
I use dunlop 1mm most of the time but I don't mind using anything, aslong as they're not too thing (anything under 0.75 is probably too thin for my liking)
a di box is cheaper but you may get lag/delay from when you hit the note till when you hear it come through your speakers usb audio interface you should get that problem unless you get a really cheapy one or if u set the input buffer, e.g. how many samples to use to high
Do your own research. Compare prices on ebay, look up reviews, play different types in the shop. That's what I did and it took me 2 months to decide on my pedal (Zoom G7.1ut) In the end it pays off, especially if you're not full with money. Line 6 amps are great little machines for their price and carry some mean distortion and effects. I believe the Line 6 Spider IV is now out.
Haha pretty sick last name XD If I were to cover one of those songs then i would probably do the ransom. Not a fam of eye of the storm and there are already a lot of covers of my curse on youtube. Thanks for the sugestion.
You sure? If you compare the orignal track to this then you should be able to tell the difference easily. I make sure that you can hear my guitar well for all my covers.
I was mostly self taught. I had a friend who played guitar at about the same level as me who taught me how to do a few things like palm muting etc but I learned most things by my own using tabs from the internet.
@JackMcGuitar Ah - fair play - I prefer Drop C as it is easier on the hands but yeah, I do agree with you about the sound when playing a power chord instead if barring the chord. :D
@JackMcGuitar Actually, my friend has the tab book and if memory serves that book says it's in D Standard. Excellent cover btw. I found no faults with it. Subbed :D
Its a great thing to learn. You just need to have some motivation and to be able to persist with it. You wont get better at guitar unless you enjoy it, most people who decide to learn get bored after a while because they don't have any movitation. My advice is to buy a cheap second hand guitar (maybe even an acoustic) and if it goes well and you want to continue then buy yourself a decent guitar and keep playing!
haha yeah they're both pretty fast songs. Gets ya right hand pumping lol. 260k views... holy shit Im up to about 147K when I checked yesterday. You deserve every last one of them man.
Yeah man your audio usually turns out pretty good andway, as long as you add the track in the background. Your subscribers dont seem to mind! you have well over 200000 views now, and double my subscribers haha. Umm i plan to do bleeding mascara or the light that blinds next... I keep putting off the light that blinds, even though I planned to do it about 5 months ago now... hmm i guess it depends on what song I feel like recording on the day XD lol
Mmm can't wait haha... :S Good to have a break. Um i might just do a 'two weeks' solo redo with better sound, apart from that i'd like a new guitar + better way of recording before anymore videos. What about you man? Haha seems a bit weird asking since you just uploaded this one.
I think that I'll never get bored of watching your videos.
damn really nice video!
the solo camera angle was awesome!
perfect as always
wow, amazing playing, sick quality. all around great video
Amazing solo, flawless! Tank!
Very good cover and epic sounding tone ! U rock dude!
"tnQs dude n all da music rock lovers fr those Hu love Rock reign love you all,,,Let's play enjoy wed music br not wed drugs and lastly we guys are also from band of "Scremo hollowen"we salute to those who are gonna rock long live rock and roll i alys Curious to see cover song of bullet for my valentine salute who love to play metal,,
Man, that solo is better than the original. That bend at 4:00-4:02 sounds so freaking sweet!
Very impressive, I hope to reach such a level of guitar talent when I start learning it after Christmas.
Michael Hamm I hope you reached it 10 years later mate!
@Hollocost20 It's tuned to D Standard (All strings down two frets).
wow this is so perfect it could be put on an album very nice job on playing this
@iSAUSAGE Of course i've tried Drop C. It really doesn't matter, it's not like you have to relearn the song for each tuning. I played it in D-standard because I wanted to play it in D standard and I like the sound you get from the first fret powerchord which you do not get when the E string is tuned down an extra step.
Dude, love the cover, this is insane, and is also one of my favourite songs. Awesome cover dude, keep rocking!
\m/
I don't have pod farm, but I did use the preset "Chugs and Kisses" by KSE. I slightly altered it but hardly enough to notice.
@300guitar I played it in D standard, not Drop D, and changed the tap accordingly, so it sounds identical.
@gaara10171 It's the larger of the two pocket pods, which ever one that is.
@fluidkarma83 It was just a pre-set on my Line 6 Pocket Pod
Yes, I am playing in Drop C.
Some guitars have 22 frets and others have 24, but it doesn't necesserily meat it's a "metal guitar".
Mine has 22 frets, but I am getting one soon that has 24.
My guitar is an ESP LTD h-50
I plan to do the light that blinds next, and then bleeding mascara after that... but it might end up being my next cover. depends which song i want to play on the day lol
Thanks dude
I do put A LOT of effort into my covers so i'm glad that it gets recognised :)
@AngelOfChaos963 Some play it in C, some play it in D. If you change the tab accordingly then it sounds the same either way.
@NORTHERNMETALPRIEST Sorry I just remembered this was before I got my Zoom, in the video I was using a Line 6 pocket pod.
I used the preset called Chugs and Kisses under KSE.
I changed slightly but hardly enough to even notice.
@ChoiceI3 - They cost about $17 (AUD) and I got them from my local guitar store. They are Ernie Ball 11-54.
Thanks for subscribing :)
There are links to the tabs in the description. It would take too long for me to explain it now.
this was amazing! sooo good and i love bfmv. excited for the new album :)
what's even better was that this video was posted on my birhday :)
Good luck man! Never give up!
Thanks dude. I enjoy making covers but just havn't had enough time lately. Hopefully ill find a bit more time in the next 2 weeks
@SteveOTheMan16 - It's not wrong, it is just not the right sound to use which would make it sound wrong to some people.
@NORTHERNMETALPRIEST You do not hear my amp in the video, just my pedal which is directly connected to the computer. My pedal is a Zoom g7.1ut
yeah the quality is much better thankfully. I still have the same camera but i got a new computer which means i can play the videos without having to downsize them. My old computer was sooooo slow i could hardly play any videos let alone edit them
you made the tone come out really nicely on this one, 5/5 great job :D
@guitarmaster9771 there is a link in the description.
@300guitar that depends cos' i'm using drop d standard, cos when you read the tabs you can just move two frets down or to the left
Sorry but I will not make an instruction video, but I have provided tabs in the intro, both tabs have the intro tabbed the way I play it.
dang that is the best cover for this sond that i have seen,, good work
Thanks for all the comments. I enjoy reading them :)
@flipslamjumpjumpjump You do not hear my amp in this video. I directly connected my Line 6 Pocket Pod.
That's a really nice guitar dude, love the colour
Your tone is absolutely brilliant o.O
Wow man the sound is perfect and you play it perfectly im working on this song too but yours sounds identical
well i have the cakewalk UA-1G by roland pretty fair price 160 compared to 250+ for some of them, has a guitar jack input that can be switched to mic, it has standard tv or speaker input and output ports on the back and a input level, works well no latency even with high input buffer e.g. for better quality play back, works for both electric and bass because there still classed as guitar, even has a standard 3.5 mm jack, considering bass you might want to look at amplitube.
I got my first guitar when I was 7, which was about 9 years ago I played on and off for a few years.
@shotguntothefaceXD the reason it sound wrong in drop D is because hes in D standard which is standard tuning a whole step down. So in other words tune all your other strings down too not just the low E
@antonjagavilla nope D standard! Same as drop c but the lowest string is a D instead of a C! :)
Alternate picking makes it sound less fluent. I have a very fast strum so this isn't a problem for me.
Ill be getting a better guitar in a few weeks so maybe you'll prefer the look of that one.
very good video quality!
fine playing!
Rock on!!!
Wow! your AMAZING !! every cover you make is perfect !
I really enjoy watching your covers !
I hope you make them more often though xD
Keep it up (Y)
Hahah yeah it was the first thing that popped into my head when i saw the video. It seems like a really hard song to transcribe and I doubt there will be any tabs for a long time. but If I can work it out then I will probably do it :) Thanks for the suggestion
Dude :D, intense cover good to see a video from you! Holidays now eh? Sweet man :D. 5/5 bru
Great tone man, your really good!
awsome cover. great soloing.

Man I'm trying to get that sweep on the solo down! Great job man.
Remember to read the video description before asking questions. Yes, I used tabs. links are in the description.
Make sure you read the video desciption/side bar before you ask questions. There are links for the tabs in there
yeah man I have written heaps of riffs. I plan to share some with youtube soon, once I have a few properly recorded. :)
Damn near perfect. good job.
@JackMcGuitar Droped C is the tuning of the record. It won't sound ok if you play in droped D along with the record.:)
a di box is cheaper but you may get lag/delay from when you hit the note till when you hear it come through your speakers
usb audio interface you should get that problem unless you get a really cheapy one or if u set the input buffer, e.g. how many samples to use to high

Alright. I'll check them out. Any recommended ones? Btw, if it changes anything I'd mostly be recording bass guitar with this.
I've got a bass amp. Are those USB Audio interfaces made specifically for guitar..?
damn nice job dude I am going to try to play it like that. also nice editing
Haha pretty sick last name XD
If I were to cover one of those songs then i would probably do the ransom. Not a fam of eye of the storm and there are already a lot of covers of my curse on youtube. Thanks for the sugestion.
Ok, Thanks for the advise, ill probobly end up using the way you did it. Exept when theres a conflicting singing part.
BTW , when will you cover Bleeding Mascara??
I'm really looking forward to it.
i cant get enough of this! very good! u can be my guru.
gracias..
@iSAUSAGE a lot of songs on SAF were recorded in DGCFAD, as a fan you should know this
Thanks man!
I connect my Zoom G7.1ut pedal into the computer via USB and record onto the free program audacity.
nice man, hoping to get there one day, if i get wat i want for christmas, (epihone, white les paul) ill be gettin there (slowly) lol
You sure?
If you compare the orignal track to this then you should be able to tell the difference easily.

Thanks :)
I can't seem to make anything sound good when I record to audacity. It sounds garbled and sounds as if there is way too much distortion...
great job my friend! :D
love it!
@1234blaze8330 Audacity is free software.
@iSAUSAGE most of scream im fire songs are played in D standard
great cover man you're awsome
Sounds great! Real clean sound to :) ;D
@JackMcGuitar Actually, my friend has the tab book and if memory serves that book says it's in D Standard. Excellent cover btw. I found no faults with it. Subbed :D
hey man great vid, whats the pocket pod like? Am thinking of getting one. Is the tone of it any good?
@abcdefghijklmnop2894 Shit, thanks man. Any idea where I can get a cable like that? The one that runs from amp to computer?
Yeah man finally 2 weeks of holidays. Year 11 is stressful :S
Do you have a cover planned for anytime soon?
Its a great thing to learn. You just need to have some motivation and to be able to persist with it. @MrMickyThompson Sick, thanks man.
rock dude..full score!!. 10/10..
that... was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im really confused guys,is it in drop c or standard d?
i saw the live video of this song(rar 2008) and matt seems to be playing with his drop c guitar
thats awesome!
