Another wonderful one note strawberry perfume is Layered’s Luscious Strawberry. It smells just like strawberries when you bite into it. So good.

A Blessing2019 it does have some floral, but it is primarily a sweet berry scent! Just hints of light florals, warm sugar and musk. It’s honestly my favorite perfume and I’m not a floral fan

there’s a kids perfume in India called Doggy Magic which is strawberry scented and it was really popular when I was a kid. It had an amazing strong scent and has a lot in the bottle and was really how I started to realise that I want my signature scent to be a sweet berry scent.
I'm all for those fruity perfumes. Those kind of gourmands are my absolute favourite.

I remember back in the day something called Strawberry Fields. Strawberry was popular in essential oils and incense during the hippie era. And btw, the red pillow in the background is gorgeous!!

My grievance with patchouli is that it usually dominates the hell out of bright, aromatic fruity notes. It’s like trying to listen to a violin solo while a fire alarm is blaring away in the background. There are exceptions, like Kirke from Terenzi. The passion fruit is definitely a prominent note that isn’t overtaken by the patchouli, which is actually pretty subdued for patchouli.

I love your videos! I'm getting into perfumes now and I love it but it can be a pretty expensive hobby so I decided to subscribe to scentbox lastnight just so I can try out alot of high end perfumes lol. That's still not going to stop me from purchasing perfume bottles because not only am I on with scent but with packaging as well 😅

For me is amazing strawberry perfume Thierry Mugler Womanity Pour Elles.. its still possible to buy it these days and its like summer im the bottle for me.. like were all day on sun, on the beach, ate some figues and after take long shower with some strawberry shower gel.. mixture of bronze skin and sweet fruit coctail

The best most delicious strawberry I’ve ever smelled was on a 1970’s Barbie called “Sweet 16 Barbie”! She came with scratch & sniff items of strawberry. 2nd place was the 1980’s Mary Kay lipgloss and shampoo. I wish they would bring them back!

Bought the Burberry Her because everyone is swearing by the fruit notes in it, but in my experience I get nothing like that from it. Biggest disappointment. You can smell the strawberry for 3 seconds after aplication and then it's gone like it was never ever there

Is there such a thing as a Daisy note? I was under the impression that daisies are scentless flowers and Marc Jacobs created his interpretation of what a flower with no smell would be if it did have an aroma.
Hmm some of the others in the line do have daisy in though
@@SokiLondon I could be wrong. I was thinking back years ago when I worked in fragrance and Daisy had launched. We always received documents from the companies on scents, their notes, inspirations, etc. so we could be knowledgeable selling them. I feel like it was insistent that Daisy is not a literal recreation of actual Daisy aroma but an interpretation. I just Google-schmoogled and found daisies at best have an "earthy aroma" and in some breeds they can actually smell foul. So maybe Marc Jacobs was using the earthy aspect in other scents? Anyway, it's a gorgeous perfume so none of this matters really! 🤣 I love your channel and strawberry scents so this video is wonderful!!
