Listened to this on the day of it's release, being newly 16 and getting introduced to Edam whole life ahead of me. Still come back to remember the memories
Listening to this high is like mentally going to war with your subwoofers. 1 ohm, 0 ga wiring, 13" Audiobahns, SPL screaming gorilla 5,500 watts, duel ported custom spec airspace.
apartment headphones yea thats right keep tellin me how free we are GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! by god i mean the dollar of course our green god made of wood.
A remix is a great way to get new life out of an old song. I have heard the original a million times and while often the original is the best, nothing wrong with an alternate. If I ever have to hang out of a helicopters door with a 50 cal then I will be sure to have the original playing but this is still nice.
Amazing! this was/is a scary song- and the techno dub gives it a mechanized, unhuman feel. Sort of conjuring up images of evil & desperation. The Stone's movie "Gimme Shelter" was a live documentary about the concert at Altamount Speedway which was supposed to be another Woodstock. Instead it went down a dark path leading to a stabbing in front of the stage that was, coincidentally captured on film - the knife is silhouetted against a girl's shirt a second before the stabbing. Scary stuff
Those who call this garbage are missing the point. All music is a creative jumping off point. It's okay to love the original, it's okay to build on it, to remix it, to add your own flavor. It doesn't diminish the original, it complements it.
Great version, everyone should get passed the "original is sacred" argument and just enjoy music for what it is. It's 75% art, and 15% science. Not a lot of people know that Morty!
@FrackleRackle I can see what you mean but I just feel like real music is dying and everything is done on computers now. I used a marshall 10CD for those videos
No these is one of the rolling stones biggest songs mick Jagger and Keith wrote this song in 1968 ,most ma be every body in the world knows stones top 3 songs ,I think you were joking.
Lol didn't see this was made by Zeds Dead, I'm not super into his stuff but I like a few of his songs (Coffee Break specifically is pretty damn good). I still don't like this remix though, not because he is a bad producer, but I just don't feel that this song can be changed for the better. Also I'm not huge into dubstep, though I love other electronic genres (drum and bass, jungle, some techno, etc.).
@manueljimenez831 Yeah its sad, we need another person like jack white to create popular real music, alot of people were into that and he was a great guitarist, there are rumours of a solo album so keep your fingers crossed i guess
Probably the most recent comment on this. But this is a classic. If you’re here in 2024, like it up 🔥

@DjCremeDelf true, but thats also half the point of dubstep, dnb and such... a good sound system ;)
Great version, everyone should get passed the "original is sacred" argument and just enjoy music for what it is. It's 75% art, and 15% science. Not a lot of people know that Morty!
+Dave Prince Especially since this is the only version I like of the song. LOL
+Dave Prine but dubstep is fucking shite, I'd rather resample a 9800 baud modem dialling to a bbs
+Alan Ward It says dubstep in the title, wtf are you doing here at this video, and then into the comments? A bit of the ol' masochism...
Luck... :-)
Watch Rick and Morty, he'll tell you the secret 10% :D
