    I'm curious what this costs? Do you charge per job or per foot of drilling? What are the rates these days? Thanks

      You be looking at a little over a hundred a foot and screen and grouting plus pump test on top.

    That's gotta be the most modern... 22 I think it's a 22w... In the world... Your using hydraulic cylinders to raise the mast I'm assuming you still use the winch to telescope is it hydraulic?

    • @69druth
      @69druth  3 года назад

      No that one is welded as a single mast. It is a 22 and the mast is 27 ft we use a 18 ft bar . It can be tricky starting a hole and clearing when fishing but handy for well service and it is real solid when drilling and great for pulling back. We bought it off a guy that drilled rock and used it for shallow screen wells and fix up rotary holes. We were not sure if we would like it but turned out really good for us.

    Good day Was it a good yr. for drilling. I remember 1988, I live at end of farm Mennonite bought farm, we get water from him. They said that yr 130 wells went dry in Waterloo county. It's been dry up there too not? Thanks for now.

    • @69druth
      @69druth  6 лет назад

      Yes being a good year for business lots to do. And 88 was a duster I remember that year well hot hot hot. We are dry here too but getting enough moisture for the most. Some corn to the north of us is toast as rain early was spotty.

    How are you liking that short mast on the 22w

    • @69druth
      @69druth  6 лет назад +1

      So far so good it is really solid. The worst part is starting the hole with no guide but that short lived.All the mast is there it's just welded so if we wanted we could put it back but don't see any need to.

      @@wvwaterwelldriller We have a few DR 12s around here. They far from perfect a lot of bogus holes. Payments 14000 a month so they push em down. If we had to get one it would be one that cases as we go.
