Moto America was not even prepared to display a penalty board for PJ. Lame. Bush league.
I rode 10 hours on my bike to stand there and watch this in that tropical storm, and worth every part of it.

Was an honest mistake and I doubt anyone expected him to be able to see his pit board in those conditions. It's easy to miss the marshals flags too. I've blown many checkered flags at trackdays, in clear conditions no less.

Too bad for PJ, he was riding great If he knew the situation he could have easily dropped two spots and then come back for a second place finish.
So true. MotoAmerica needs to allow for a small message screen on the bikes to notify riders of important situations.
Too bad they couldn’t just give him a time delay, and drop spots on that interval or not.

Not a good race for him but I'm really impressed with Paasch. To step in mid season and get consistent top finishes is pretty badass. He needs to be in WSS.
Agreed with him if there was no yellow flag waving then why he had to pay for the penalty. AMA needs to step it up with all these technical infringement and other rules. it's not like motorcycle racing just had started couple years back LOL
At 1:42 laptimes, they are riding in this flood only 4 seconds slower than my best time in the dry 😭
(I think 1:42 is probably a dry intermediate pace for most trackday groups that run there)

I pay for but I don’t care. Anything MotoAmerica can do to promote the sport of motorcycle racing and get it out to the masses is a good thing. For those like us paying to promote the sport, I’m all for it.

Just one request... update the positions in the competition more often, because there are motorcyclists who have fallen and are out of the race, but they are still in the first place in the classification.

Do they use different tires to race on a wet track as opposed to a dry track?
I had hoped you were kidding, but then I realized that new watchers to the sport may not know this.
The short answer is Yes, there are rain tires for the wet-race conditions.

@@THE-APEX Moto America penalizes PJ two positions and then has no way of communicating the penalty to him on track so that he can take action. Add in the under water camera work and Greg White so busy belaboring some absurd point he misses significant action in the race. Shall I go on? 😋😁
