    I'm not sure if I am more impressed with your hands for putting it together and making it look easy or your fabulously creative brain for thinking it up! Looking forward to more!

    This turned out better than I thought it would. When the video started out, I was confused about the fabric use but girl you are genius and to add you're lovely to listen to. Very soft spoken.

    i realize ur video is aboit a yr old but for halloween this year 2016 we found a beautiful mermaid costume. not ur average Ariel theme. A nice turquoise n light purple mix with pearls n such. im very artsy crafty and decided your idea of a mermaid crown would be the authentic look we were going for....i am proud to say i acomplished this look. not exaclty of course i stuck with the idea matchning her costume. as far as the headband n wire i went with that n used felt to cover up. added pearls n rhinestones here n there. would loooooove to show you. Thank you so much for this tutorial it was very useful!!!! love it!~

    Hi Jacobee!
    I love this crown I wanted to add it to my DIY Crown favorites but it doesn't let me do that... Can you know why?
    Kisses from Portugal!

      Helena A. You will need to 'refresh' the page if it does not let you add to favorites. It happens to me almost every time I want to save a tutorial.
      I hope that helps.

    how to did put together the part that hangs on your forehead? is there a name for that piece?

    • @ArcherGirl82
      @ArcherGirl82  6 лет назад

      Fendi Alecia Thomas That's actually a completely separate piece- I took several strands of hair, braided it and sewed it to a piece of ribbon, then pinned it into my hair and put the crown over top.

    where from is the fabric (netting) ? what is the name of this?

    • @ArcherGirl82
      @ArcherGirl82  7 лет назад +1

      It's called Azure Tide Pools Sequin Open Weave from Joann Fabrics. There's a link with all of the info in the description box, but it is a seasonal fabric so it goes in and out of stock. I have found similar products though from other stores, often in the costume fabric section.

    where did you get the fabric YOU used, lol I love it so much!!

    • @ArcherGirl82
      @ArcherGirl82  8 лет назад +1

      I wish I remembered the exact name- it's from Joann Fabrics, and when I went back for more, they told me it was one of their specialty fabrics. They tend to be seasonal, so if I see it again or get a memory jolt, I'll post about it.

      +Judy Bielik The fabric is not only back in stores, but I found it in a couple of new colors!
