I listen to my exhaust more than I listen to music for sure. Lol 😂
I have a 2015 lml and dash cracks is new information to me. Now the cp4 pump is not bad if only you keep fuel clean. I have a lift pump and pump diesel fuel from a private fuel company that have filter fuel with additive included. I also change out fuel filter regularly. I have a buddy with his cp4 still Installed with 150,000 no problem. My diesel mechanic stated that cp3 will go bad as well.
I've been following on IG for awhile now and just now finally subscribed to your channel. Great video! I can definitely agree on the black paint. I have a black '01 Monte Carlo SS and it shows dirt way more so than my yellow '02 Monte Carlo SS. It's so hard to keep clean! When I'm driving my dad's/my '39 Plymouth coupe street rod ('74 Nova front and rear, '72 small block chevy, true dual exhaust with only steel packs) I listen the the wonderful sound of the exhaust more than I do the radio in it. Can't wait to see more videos!
Even when it’s freezing outside I’ll roll mine down for at least the first few minutes and listen to it 😂 sounds too good when it’s cold not too!
My dad has a 2009 Yukon XL and he’s got the same cracked dash issue. I looked into it, and it’s a widespread problem on GM trucks & SUV’s from this body style. From what I’ve learned, it’s a combination of cheap plastic & the screws holding the dash being over-torqued from the factory. Over time, it causes the plastic to get stressed and crack. Something you may wanna consider is a DashSkin. It’s a $150ish cover that glues over your factory dash, hiding the cracks while retaining a factory look

Beautiful truck man. I have a 2012 Yukon Denali with also 170k miles. I’ve babied it a lot and also kept it in a garage most of its life. It now sits outside for my 2018 Jetta lol and 13 GTI but I haven’t had any issues with my steering wheel faux wood and I’ve used the heated feature since I’ve had it basically new off the lot with 13k. My dashboard also hasn’t cracked probably because of the garage like i said. Same issues with the black paint it gets so dirty. Although mine has a metallic flake to it so it’s not exactly black.

If you are worried about the cp4 pump you can do a cp3 conversion it cost around $3500 for parts and labor but it is a lot cheaper than an $8000 cp4 pump failure
i lucked out with a 1inch straight line crack on my dash which relieve the stress on my 07 silverado new body.
Can you tell me how much you paid for your CP 3 pump conversion?

When you replace the dash leather wrap it it won't crack no more we have done a whole bunch of dashes like that and same for the tahoes that models makes the truck look and feel more fancy like a Denali should be and get you a steering wheel cover if that steering wheel gets any worse
Amazon sells a dash cover that looks pretty decent. What’s going on with the lift pump install? That might put your mind at ease a little about the cp4.
Early in the video it looks like your brake lights aren’t working.
CirclePFarm I'm doing an install video with dealer options for the lift pump. As for the brake light, it's the angle. Can't really see them light up unless you're behind it.
Dash mats will fix the dash cracking from starting and also cover the dash up they don’t look that bad either I don’t think!

They make dash board covers! I have one on my Dodge that has a cracked das and it fits slim right over the top and you can barely tell its a cover

The 2007-2014 GMC Sierra DURAMAX looks good in black especially when they are smoked out and lifted
Omar Zowila Looks good but black the hardest to keep clean an keep scratches off
I have a 11 with a 4" Flo pro with a muffler and 3" downpipe and it's a similar sound to your lly.
Also have a rumble tune, when I let off the throttle the turbo sounds amazing lol
looking at getting a 2013 gmc 2500 dmax with 168k miles for 30k i think thats a good deal but unsure
My 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 has a cracked dash and my dad put a carpet on the top of where it would not look bad
Get a Dash cap for your dash, and for now to keep it from cracking use 303 on it...
Hey brother, check out ceramic coating it yourself! Maybe $150 total and one Saturday of your time. It’s not a complicated process at all. 6.7lime did it on his channel and highly recommends the product he used. Jacks Wax I think

Just put a dash mat on the dash. I’ve got one on mine. Out of sight out of mind. And will help protect against more cracking.

Why not get something more practical? Something you could literally do for anything. Don’t get me wrong, a GTR would be cool to get groceries in but I’d rather go to the lumber yard in a new duramax. Just my $0.02.

Ricardo Quezada cp4 is the high volume pump that deliver fuel to injector rails at 30,000 psi. Good pump just doesn’t like bad fuel and filter.

Lift pump will help the cp4 live longer.

Righteous One the cp4 is the fuel pump that’s know to fail and send metal shards into the motor chasing engine failure and a costly rebuild, a lift pump is an aftermarket feature that in simplest terms helps to get fuel to the fuel pump better
