ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find your trigger, common triggers:

You know what is the worst? When your watching asmr videos so the volume is up and you click on a new video and an ad pops up that practically bursts your ear drums
Yeah...we're not able to make asmr playlists anymore to aid in drifting off to sleep without yea, obnoxious ads jolting us out of relaxation -_-
adblock plus is your friend.
If you use Google Chrome you can get the AdBlock add on for free and it blocks all youtube ads!
I did have it and then it decided to stop working after a couple months.... o.o
I watch all of Dimitri's videos and have never had an ad is it because he's only put ads on in America because I'm from the UK ?

Amazing. The biggest and most unexpected trigger in this video was the brush on the soap. On the whole it was simply awesome. I felt very strong asmr on my scalp back and arms and almost fell asleep!

I fell asleep to this last night, best night's sleep of my life! It most certainly is the best video you've made I think, simply because it caters to pretty much everyone's triggers! I don't know what it is but it gives me MAJOR tingles all the way through, I almost can't stand it haha, I don't even usually like inaudible whispering!? The lighting makes this video I think. The tingles begin nice at my head but then travel down my spin and make my back feel like its tense up...I don't know if this is normal, or if I like the feeling. Its strange, almost painful but also sort of enjoyable at the same time. Am I the only one?

This video is superb. The lighting really does make it, all of the fan favorite sounds you incorporated are amazing as well. This may actually be your best video. Not to take away from all of the hard work you've put into everything else, but wow. I knew 10 minutes in that this will be a video I come back to many times, that rarely happens for me on ASMR videos. I can't wait until this goes live, something tells me the response is going to be overwhelming.
